I stay at the property regularly simply because of the experience I've had there so far. Everything, the staff, facilities and food are all excellent. The Shepherds huts are amazing, like a little home away from home. And the packaged, take away breakfast in the morning is superb.

This small family-owned and run country hotel in North Suffolk was once a rural public house; today, it has been sympathetically renovated and still retains its historic charm and character.

Wow... There are only positive words we can say about The Little Barn. It was so relaxing, incredibly clean and well made. We had such a wonderful time here and we can't wait to come back. The owners are so friendly and easy to chat to, while giving you space when you're in the barn. Can't fault it, what a special find.
The site was at Stoke Ash which is a nice village.
The site was at Stoke Ash which is a nice village. Very convenient as it is on the A140 as I needed to go to Attleborough. I wanted to go to the sewing shop in Eye and that is an excellent shop. Veritable Alladin's Cavern.

Eye is a excellent place to stay not to busy but lots to do especially for children . You can drive for about 45 minutes and take a boat trip with a nice pub halfway there before you come back . Pubs are very welcoming and serve good food .

Lovely area - lots of space.
Lovely area - lots of space. We specifically went to visit Bressingham Steam Museum/Gardens (exceeded expectations, and cracking value for money!). Wish we had a longer stay to spend more time hereabouts.
Only downside (and a bit cheeky from someone who lives in the South East) was traffic in and around Norwich... wasn't expecting that ! Will definitely be returning for longer all the same.

Eye is a lovely little place, lovely town to walk around with interesting things to see Everyone very friendly We had an excellent and good value meal at the Queens Head, and other refreshments at the Cafeye, both very much recommended Public carpark central, free, easy to use We visited the church, it's beautiful inside; the organist was practising, what an atmosphere! We looked at the outside of the 15th cent Guildhall next door with its amazing medieval wooden exterior carvings Then we climbed up the old castle 'motte' or mound, next to it stunning views from the top Several old buildings good to see, including the almshouses The central Town Hall with its cupola is good too Come and explore Eye, it's well worth it and the people are friendly and welcoming

Eye is an area as well as containing the village of Eye.
Eye is an area as well as containing the village of Eye. The area is lovely, quiet countryside and we went to the village of Eye to have a look about. Seems like there isnt much there except an old, quiet village, old church and pretty houses, but i read mention of a couple of restaurants, so maybe worth researching a bit more. Did catch sight of an opticians, a post office and a general store.

Very hospitable hosts providing a lovely, well-appointed room with comfortable bed, sofa, plenty of space, nice bathroom. Good facilities such as coffee machine, availability of fresh milk, cakes each day and nice toiletries. A great spot for a short break in that part of Suffolk, in reach of the coast and other sites of interest. Excellent breakfasts too, freshly cooked to order with good choice considering size of the property. Would thoroughly recommend.
We had the family room, which contains 2 double beds and has a bathroom with shower over bath. Plenty of hot water, nice strong shower. Comfortable bed, large room, plenty of sockets for charging. Airconditioning very efficient. Although the place is on a busy road, the A140, you didn't hear much noise in our room and we slept well. The bar/restaurant is very cosy and olde worldey, we had a great meal there, and a very good breakfast. Lovely staff
The hotel does almost half price offers over the weekend
Great pods for a short break. Quiet location but not far from main road to Eye, Diss and further afield. Lovely and cosy with clean warm bedding. Everything we needed. Piping hot water, Fridge, Shower, TV and Wifi. Parking spot just outside with gravel path. Own garden with Barbecue (We didn't get chance to use it.) Had a look in the games room and it was well equiped with games and music and projector for TV.
