Breakfast was beautiful and delicious. The grounds were impeccable. The shower was hot with great water pressure. Staff was pleasant and accommodating even with our late arrival. I would have liked to stay longer, during a cooler week.

Great Service , friendly happy staff which is always a good sign.
My only complaint was it was cold in the room due to old windows and bad insulation but the room was very cozy.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice. It was very clean. There was a fun pub across the street, but it wasn't noisy at all. It was a short taxi ride from the train station.

Was down south from up north to see our son who is based down here so location was spot on the building was beautiful. Staff were brilliant evening meal was excellent so was the breakfast
It was filthy and in dire need of maintenance. I bought cleaning products did lots of cleaning but unfortunately could not clean upholstery or purchase a new bed pillow (which stank). I paid a supplement for my two small dogs which they say is for cleaning, but it did not look at all like the place had been cleaned for a long time. Lots of flies which I guess is to be expected with a place so dirty. The bar area stank of the resident dog.
The studio room was a good size and overlooked the garden, very quiet and modern with a little kitchenette which was very useful. The beds were really comfortable and we had a fold up bed for our daughter which was also comfy. Very happy to see they had blackout blinds too. Peter was the main contact there and he was very helpful. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel overall is very cosy and I can see that it would be a lovely place to stay in the summer as the outdoor seating area is a nice touch.
This was a real gem. Quite honestly I think this is the best small hotel I have been to in years. I celebrated my birthday there and it was just great . Room was large clean and very comfortable bed. Welcomed by Peter and his dog. Will go back again.
Excellent, personal, customer service from the staff. I didn't have dinner at the hotel but I had a really good breakfast. very helpful staff and they really do try to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
