the staff took really good care of us , and where attentive to our needs. The staff showed flexibility and good customer service skills when we changed our booking when arriving at the hotel. We had a full English breakfast which was perfectly cooked and coffee that was brewed to perfection that set me up for the day

A small town but very pretty and full of old buildings, especially the humungous cathedral and associated buildings. ( 14 pounds for a visit!) Riverside walk and pub. A pleasant atmosphere. Loads of pubs and eating places of all sorts. Well worth a short visit. I stayed in a central B&B and ate in the Lamb pub by the cathedral. Traffic on the way was a pain but the town has plenty of free parking.

Transport very good busand trains.Many interesting small businesses and parkland lovely. Wonderful cathedral , but entry charge of £14 a bit much. They should have donation boxes with a suggested gift giving people a choice.

I love Ely it is a tiny jewel with a lively market and a glorious cathedral. There us also a top range book shop on 3 floors offering free coffee perfect for browsing. A huge plus for Ely is free car parks no need to worry about time .well done local council.another lovely part is down by the riverside. All of Ely is walkable.lots of eating places.we were at a concert in the Cathedral and were amazed and thankful that the public loos were still open during the interval

Ely is a wonderful small town for a few days stay - along the river is excellent on a fine day and a nice pub to have a drink and watch the world go by. Ely Cathedral was magnificent - we have visited many across UK and this is certainly one of the best - Stained Glass exhibition is also worth a visit. Cromwells House and Ely Museum worth a visit if you have time. Ely Cathedral has the Armoury Cafe which we would recommended for lunch. For dinner: The Lamb was excellent with wonderful food at a fair price.
Great location very close to centre of Ely - 5 mins walk to the cathedral. Check in was efficient & access to the hotel out of hours is easy. Parking on site is available but limited - only 4-5 spaces and the neighbouring car park is max 3 hours stay so we were fortunate to get a space. Cooked breakfast was tasty but it was the only option - no cereal / fruit / yoghurts, etc
This hotel is in an excellent location for the city centre. The room was fabulous with a very comfy bed and fantastic bathroom. The breakfast menu had plenty to choose from and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were all lovely and friendly and we were especially impressed with Alex and his evening meal wine list.
Fantastic breakfast, delicious fruit and pastries, lovely cooked breakfast very tasty. Lovely coffee Nespresso machine. Lovely staff very attentive. Hotel was only minutes away from Ely centre but well away from any noise from Traffic. Beautiful gardens and house.
