    This hotel was well run.

This hotel was well run. The staff were very nice and efficient. We ate in the dining room a couple of times and really enjoyed the meals. I had the lamb burger on one night and can highly recommend it. Our room was comfortable albeit a bit small but certainly adequate for our two night stay. I d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again

I wanted to be in this area as I was looking for a very rare bumblebee and this was very central for me to visit varies bumblebee sites. The area had a beautiful beech and the whole area seemed very clean. All the local people I spoke to were very nice and helpful. I would certainly stay here again if I were to return to this area.

Nice friendly hotel with helpful staff that obviously cared about what they were doing. A good basic room with all that you could need with plenty of soft towels and of course the tea/coffee making. The restaurant was busy but they fitted us in and the meal was first class, having eaten here before I expected nothing less.

The road out to Dunnet head shouldn't be missed and on the way back stop at Brough Bay to watch the seals at play or hauled out on the slipway. Back at the hotel visit the adjacent Gin distillery for some treats

    Dunnet is beautiful.

Dunnet is beautiful. Lovely beach walks, great hospitality at Dunnet B&B Escapes and the Northern Sands Hotel. A short drive along the road is the most Northerly point of mainland Britain, Dunnet Head, and it's well worth the jaunt for spectacular views and puffin sightings.

Dunnet Head and Lighthouse are recommended, Tip of Scotland, most Northernly point. Lots of birds in the cliffs and walks, Can be rugged, especially if rainy and windy, but exciting, Lighthouse is a beauty if you are into them.
