Location, cleanliness and great nights sleep. Really nice traditional house which had everything you needed for a trip away including a really nice hot tub. Although we had snow at the time the property was nice and warm. Had all the cooking condiments which you don’t always get in some places. We will definitely be back it’s a great place to get away and chill from life.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Abbeyfield.
I was made to feel very welcome and was well looked after during my stay.
The atmosphere at the guest house was very relaxed and the house itself was very well presented. A good balance between modern and characterful.
My room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed.
Food at Abbeyfield was delicious and plentiful.
The guest house is a little way out of the centre of Dufftown, but still easily walkable for most people. About 10 minutes for me, and I tend to saunter.
So - all good.

Dufftown was a pleasant surprise with 2 good restaurants and a coffee cafe. Residents are very friendly and full of tips for sightseeing. The town is a good central location for exploring the Spey valley.

Very cosy little town with shops for our need. Beautiful mountain paths / trails to walk on. Fantastic nature, and if you are into whisky, there are many destilleries in the area to visit….

There is only 1 Bar in Dufftown and it’s basic but has a dart board but that’s your lot.now as others lost business to Covid. There’s an Indian which is average and take away which is basic. Advise to book places to eat in Aberlour to avoid disappointment. Whisky tours only accept online bookings.

The people were friendly.
The people were friendly. Unfortunately the tourist information office had been shut down. There were plenty of distilleries nearby if you had a car. There were good walking tracts if you had a medium level of fitness. There is only one pub as far as I know but I would recommend the restaurant as the food which was excellent.

Charming little town in the heart of whisky country!
Charming little town in the heart of whisky country! Glenfiddich Distillery with its excellent visitor facilities situated in the town and several other distilleries open to view in the locality. An interesting ruin, Balvenie Castle, to explore on the outskirts of the town. Dufftown also boasts its own heritage railway which is definitely worth a visit. Beautiful walks and lovely scenery around the town.

Only a few restaurants in and around town make sure you reserve ahead. If you plan on going to the distillery's or the Speyside cooperage also make sure you book ahead. Dufftown golf course is public and is nearby and will rent you decent clubs. Great course. ACE taxis if you had too much good Whisky.

Everything at Inveravon Holiday Home was perfect for our stay and as expected from the pictures. Ann and Gary were very helpful and easy to communicate with, and the house was beautifully clean and spacious. The hot tub was also amazing, especially in the cold weather! Would recommend to anyone visiting Dufftown.
Yet to stay anywhere nicer in Dufftown than the Robin Inn.
Exceeded expectations.
Rooms are decorated beautifully and are immaculate… not a speck of dust!
Recommend everyone to stay here!
