Food good , staff good , leisure club good. Room really needs done up. No towels until we asked , no hairdryer, poor toiletries, no mat in bath for shower. £125 room only would make Dick Turpin blush !!

Very poor directions they try to keep their address an absolute secret which makes it difficult. There were zero instructions within their place and we had to contact the owner on a number of occasions for everything from how to operate the oven to how to lock the door. This is a person that is only interested in monetary returns, never set eyes on her, whether the guests were comfortable and happy is secondary.
Shandon Farmhouse is 1mile, 15-20 mins walk north of Drymen village. Access to the WHW is just 1 mile north of the farm. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

It had everything you needed and more
A lovely wee place to visit. We stayed so we could visit the Falkirk Wheel and Kelpies but many come for the outdoor activities. Plenty of coffee shops and bars. The Thursday night Pipe Band is brilliant.

Ideal location for exploring Loch Lomond and in easy reach of the trossachs! The village has independent shops for food and provisions plus a very good pub! There's a lovely path immediately opposite the Buchanon Arms approx 200m leading to a viewing area with benches to look out on the trossachs!

Nice visit if get right accommodation.
Nice visit if get right accommodation. Unfortunately we stayed at the Buchanan Arms Hotel, and I have uploaded a bunch of photos of our supposedly SUPERIOR KING room - 2 singled beds pushed together.
The Mill House is lovely to go to for drink and meal. nearby hotel entertainment is on in local pubs.

Drymen is a delightful Scottish village, with very helpful and welcoming locals, good amenities such as a restaurants, bars a coffee shops with well stocked local convenience stores, they also have a great butchers.
Great communication with the owner from the onset. The cottage is located in a very quiet area though commute to the main town of Drymen is less than a 5 min drive. There is additional opportunity to access Loch Lomond park which is only 20mins drive.
In all a great place to stay, clean with all needed facilities included.
Fantastic hotel, owner went above and beyond to help us with our transport/accommodation issue further along the West Highland Way.
Great pub, wonderful atmosphere, delicious dinner and breakfast. Can't fault it at all.
Spacious, clean and comfortable. Well equipped with Netflix, wifi, toiletries and towels. Great location to explore Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Drymen is a nice village with a convenience store and a few pubs.
The Buchanan arms is ideally placed for touring Scotland, easy to get to, helpful staff. we had a superior room that was nicely layed out and a super king-size bed, we enjoyed the pool.
Nice central location in Drymen, a quick drive to hiking in Loch Lomond. Room was a little tired but it did the trick for the price and the hotel is fairly charming.
