The welcome at reception was lovely and friendly, very efficient, both check in and check out was easy. The bar staff friendly. The pressure on the shower was good.

Breakfast Room was lovely albiet leaky, service totally hit and miss, felt staff did not listen to requests, felt they were just young and perhaps untrained, unable to think for themselves and do more than one thing at once. That said the food was lovely, no refills of coffee despite request.

The main hotel is a really beautiful old building with lots of history. The restaurant was very good, though expensive. The breakfast was large and excellent. The staff were very friendly. The bar was beautiful. It is adjacent to a big golf course too if that is your thing.
