Easy entry and exit; roomy accommodation, restaurant and bar are conveniently close. Good, free, parking. A pleasant 2 mile walk to the sands of Troon (or free parking in Troon if you take a car).
The Booking.com description was NOT of a lodge
The lodge did not have air conditioning and was very hot - a noisy fan was in the room
