The staff could have been more helpful, we stayed in a family balcony room with park view over looking the wolves which the kid's loved. They layout is really good as it gave the kid's a little privacy and us the ability to make a drink, have the lights on and watch tv while they were in bed.

Doncaster is my home town and I am a bit biased however I can highly recommend Doncaster for a place to visit. It has a fine shopping centre in the City and an excellent Market. There are plenty of Restaurants that cater for all tastes. Not forgetting the wonderful Doncaster Racecourse.

We liked Doncaster but found finding information about both Lakeside and Lakeside village limited. On visiting lakeside Village for the first time we found it very difficult to find a clear route through, access to areas we wanted ended up taking us back out and we ended up driving down a dual carriage way to a roundabout in order to turn and return. Clearer signage would help.
We love the bypasses around Doncaster, easy to access and good signage. We used both Toby carvery, Campanile and McDonald's plus meal deals and snacks from Asda and Tescos and M&S to manage our food needs but there are other options if preferred. There appeared to be regular bus services to and from Doncaster and Lakeside and Lakeside Village shopping areas, and other activities were clearly marked from both bypasses and major intersections for those driving.
Driving at rush hour unless needed, before 8am andafter 9 am was much easier, as was before 4pm and after 6pm.

There are two reasons I chose to stay at The Regent, one is it is close to the places I wish to visit, the second is I love a good old fashioned English breakfast. The Regent is an old hotel that does show some signs of wear and tear but it is clean, the rooms are comfortable and it is in a reasonably quite area. The price over time has increased and it is getting close to the point where I may have to choose a different place next visit.
We were travelling from Scotland for a wedding in Doncaster. We pre-arranged with the hotel to have kilt outfits delivered in advance of our arrival. All went smoothly. The location was fab and the weather was an absolute bonus - summer in September! , sitting outdoors! Reasonable price too! Very good choice for breakfast.
the rooms are very clean staff very good plenty of tea coffee and milk in the room also the Weatherspoon's pub on location Doncaster is a nice town also next to the hotel is a place called cult man collectable got a 1902 Yorkshire and Lancashire helmet there
Great location for Doncaster Airport. Hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly even though it was a busy Sunday evening when we arrived.
Room was spotless and modern.
