The welcome from reception team !… Sally was lovely she was warm and welcoming. Our room was ready and she escorted us to it . The hotel was wonderful traditional and dressed for Christmas. Hotel ideally placed to visit the Manor! We loved also that we could eat our evening meal at the sister pub The Bow just up the road . Our breakfast in the hotel was great also .

We recently stayed at **The Dinton Hermit**, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we received a warm and friendly welcome, which immediately set the tone for our stay. The service throughout was perfect – attentive yet unobtrusive – and everyone we encountered made us feel right at home.
The highlight of our visit was the restaurant, where the lady who served us was nothing short of superb. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made our dining experience truly special. The food was exceptional, with each dish carefully prepared and presented. The breakfast, in particular, was stunning – one of the best we've had, with delicious, fresh ingredients.
Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and faultless in its style. We loved the attention to detail in the décor, which created a cosy yet elegant atmosphere. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making each room both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
We would highly recommend The Dinton Hermit to anyone looking for a memorable stay in a charming setting. Everything about our visit was outstanding, and we look forward to returning in the future!

Its close enough to Aylesbury for my visits but far enough out of the town to be peaceful. The journey in to Aylesbury can be bothersome because of the HS2 roadworks, just leave plenty of time. Its worth it to stay here.

The atmosphere was friendly right from the start and this continued throughout our stay.. There is a lovely kitchen garden adjacent to the property in which many of the chef's ingredients are grown. He saw we were interested in some of the more unusual plants and herbs so came out to give us a guided tour! He described some of the less usual herbs and their place in his cooking. He was so enthusiastic. We were given a trowel and allowed to take a couple of shoots to try at home. This was above and beyond - brilliant! We will certainly be back!
