Proximity to airport was great. Really useful being able to eat (evening meal and breakfast) at the hotel. Really useful being able to park at the hotel while staying there.
The hotel is 300 metres from the terminal building at Newcastle Airport and a 15-minute Metro ride from Newcastle city centre. It has free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a cocktail bar.

I have stayed with the Britannia Group often and although my expectation is not the highest, I am satisfied that this chain of hotels delivers what they price for. Huge bonus to this hotel is the full sized bath towel. The car park is huge and well lit. Although there was a charge of £5 which was a surprise.

We stayed here with the children after visiting Beamish for the night for Halloween. We arrived late but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The rooms were excellent and toys/gifts were left for the kids on their beds which was a lovely touch, an excellent sleep was had followed by a brilliant breakfast the next morning. All in all a top stay and was certainly value for money. All
the staff were extremely polite and attentive to our needs.
