Since we arrived we dived into a warmly environment, confy couches in the main hall and kind people welcoming. You can tell had been renovated with calssic taste keeping the soul of a typical country house. The structure as the room are very clean. The room is great, freshly renovated with a huge shower and usb plugs-in. Awesome breakfast. We had dinner and the food was delicious. But most of all the staff is friendly, smiling, helpful and kind, feels to be home. Emily especially has been a stunning help and kindness.

Liz was so friendly, the welcome basket was amazing home made bread, eggs from her chickens and honey from her bees. The cottage itself was spotless and had everything you could possibly need, a covered decking area and a fenced garden out the back, my only disappointment is that we didn’t stay longer we will definitely go back if travelling to Scotland again. Thank you so much Liz

A very nice host, a great breakfast, and a convenient location close to Inverness. The room was thoughtfully equipped with power adapters for non-UK travelers and had cozy décor, as well as some cookies & whisky in the room.

The room was really nice. The host was lovely, showed us around and gave us dinner recommendations. Staying the night assures 10% discount at some restaurants or take away! Breakfast was really good too, she prepared it for us at whatever time we liked (from 7:30) and it was full a scottish breakfast :) we would definitely stay there again if ever back in Dingwall.

Dingwall is a nice town with lively walks and amenities. The National Hotel is a National Disgrace. Worst place we've stayed in Scotland in over 40 years in regularly visiting Scitland. They should be ashamed to take people's money

Dingwall is an interesting town with shops worth visiting and other amenities for locals and visitors alike. The hotels have an important part to play in selling the town and area but my experience on this visit this was not being done. Hotel receptionists and other staff have a crucial part to play in this process by welcoming guests and making them aware of the area's attractions and amenities - if the customer is interested. Dingwall has some great individual shops but there was no attempt to find out why we were there and what could have been of interest to us.

Didn't do much in Dingwall, used the hotel as a base, the main street very run down,if you don't mind driving beautiful scenery everywhere, especially in a trip to Ullapool,it was a very cold and frosty day, stunning,we ate lunch out wherever we went, and ate in the hotel at night,no complaints all round.

Small friendly rural town. Good access to Black Isle, Inverness and stop over if traveling North/South. Decent range of local shops. Of particular note Batty’s cafe, Caley bar, Thai cafe and butchers

Dingwall is a very pleasant wee town in a beautiful part of the country and we found the locals to be very welcoming. It's on the rail route north from Inverness so is easy to get to if you don't want to drive. There a good selection of eating places and Inverness is only 12 miles away if you want a bit more to do.
