In the centre of Raglan Village, this 16th-century inn is close to the medieval castle, between Usk, Monmouth and Abergavenny. It is a 15 minute drive from the M4 and well placed for the A40.

this cottage met all our needs privacy, easy to find, peaceful, cosy - the log fire was delightful and the hot tub worth paying the extra fee for the use (we understand the cost on electricity these days) The setting is so beautiful for a leisurely walk and we were allowed to take our small jack russell who enjoyed the walks and the warmth of the cottage.

This place is just beautiful - set in the most gorgeous grounds, decorated and furnished beautifully, a great hot tub and outside space - it was perfect for a get-together with friends. The hosts were available as soon as we had an issue with the lights - got back to me within minutes of texting, and the problem was sorted quickly. Would love to stay here again one day, for longer this time!

A gem of a place in the Welsh countryside. Quiet and peaceful and a stunning little conversion. Monmouth only a few miles down the road, a great pub within walking distance and a local gin distillery which is definitely worth a visit. The property was warm, smart, comfortable and the owners went out of their way to add the little extras such as dog treats, dog towells and a dog bed. Our pack has never been so chilled. Enclosed garden is enclosed which was great for us and just down the road, if you have a reactive dog, there are secure dogs fields. Lots to explore in the local area. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Cosy cottage in a very peaceful location in a forested area. Large bathroom with hot shower and bath. Bed reasonably comfortable. We walked to Trellech and Tintern from the cottage with the aid of a very useful OS map provided by the owner. The autumn colours en route were a wonderful sight. Trellech has a very friendly village pub and the Abbey Mill in Tintern serves lovely coffee and cakes. Both Monmouth and Chepstow are within easy reach by car.

It was lovely accommodation in beautiful countryside setting. Scenery and wildlife are amazing. Lovely getaway into the countryside, but good wifi if needed. Would make a great starting point for walkers looking to explore the area. Flexible accommodation options to suit different sized groups if needed. Would recommend to all. Owners are a lovely couple, very helpful.

We stayed in this one bed property with 2 young dogs (puppies). The space has been really well thought out. We erected 2 dog grates and still had loads of useable space.
Evenings were cosy and warm, thanks to the efficient log-burner. The huge bed is so comfortable, you won't want to go home. The kitchen is well stocked whether you want to cook or grab a take-out.
Bedding is crisp and fresh, whilst towels are plentiful and of high quality. Although we didn't make use of these, there are plenty of books, games and local maps if you want to plan you activities.
Walks are right on the doorstep, with local beauty spots a short drive. ride away. Make sure to visit Raglan Castle and Garden Centre for a great coffee and good choice of cakes. They have a full menu if you want something more filling too.
