The staff was exceptionally nice , efficient and helpful. The youngest waiter was inexperienced and kept his hands in his pockets a lot! The food was excellent and good value for money with a varied choice of wines.

Didcot is a handy location and relatively close to Oxford.

Didcot is a handy location and relatively close to Oxford. It has a good range of shops as well as places to eat and a cinema. There are also lots of parks and some areas to walk. I cooked myself and there are lots of good supermarkets to get fresh as well as precooked foods for easy meals.

Didcot Railway Centre is a must-visit when in the town. A great way to experience Didcot's railway heritage in historic buildings and artefacts from the Great Western Railway. Visit during a Steam Day to experience a ride behind a preserved steam locomotive in vintage carriages!

Good location, right price but needs more attention to details. No outside light, shower floor slippy, no chopping board or bread knife. No operating manual for microwave. Batteries dead in clock and dying in tv remote and smoke alarm.

Town centre shopping and dining area is good. Pick your own fruit activity in Milton was great, we picked the juiciest straw berries and cherries. The railway centre is an interesting option too . Oxford is nearby and use of the park and ride in Oxford is great value.

Went for our anniversary and had an amazing stay at the Milton. Staff were really polite and upgraded our room. The room service and staff response over the phone was fantastic. It is a lovely hotel at a amazing location with vast countryside woods all around. Plenty of parking, comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, carpets and good heating. Lots of cosy personal space with comfortable sofas at the bar and library. I would totally recommend this hotel for couples or families looking for a weekend getaway around Oxford or the Cotswolds.

The house is a quite and comfty place to stay, and the rooms are very nice, clean and well equipped (e.g., small fridge, kettle, wardorobe, TV, comfortable bed with lots of soft pillows). I was feeling like satying in a cozy hotel - excellent and pleasant experience at the best price I could find. I was even able to meet my host, Philippe, and he was very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this lovely place at Didcot if you are in a budget and staying for a short time (I was there one week). I definitely would come back! :D
