Every member of staff was very lovely and helpful and eager to help, the location and grounds itself were very pretty and scenic and it was in a real nice location. The pool looked very accommodating but never got chance to use it, and the rooms were very spacious.

Loved everything about it. Cosy stunning venue. Rooms spacious. Finishing touches like “real” milk in the mini bar to make a cup of tea, instead of the usual sachets. Food in the restaurant was 10/10. Staff couldn’t do enough to help.

Everything. Breakfast was lovely. Tasting menu was amazing. Staff were great, especially the girl on the reception/room service who we saw the most. Would visit again and highly recommend.
Stayed in one of the ?garden rooms (seperate building with large room and bathroom). Was a very pleasant stay. Peaceful and private.
I loved the tranquility and the absolute comfort of the place. You wake up to birdsong and walk outside to these painterly hills and little lambs hopping around in the fields. The hosts Lisa and Paul are incredibly friendly. They have excellent tips for local activities and showed us around the farm. The accommodation itself faces the hills and provides fantastic sunset views. It is very clean, comfortable, and provides you with all the utilities you might need (and then some). The name is apt: hillside haven.
Lovely location with plenty of walks available on the doorstep. The Druid inn opposite served great food.

A beautiful old hotel with fabulous walks down the river and up to a bridle way with wonderful views. Great dinner and breakfast in the gardens and a very comfortable room.lovely restful weekend!
