Left standing at the reception without any staff to check me in, despite informing her I was hurrying to dress up for an event.
Met a staff at the bar who told me i must wait until she finish serving the queue of men buying beer endlessly.
Very poorly staffed
Very cold - no heating. Manager Michael deceived me into thinking he was providing a portable heater.
Did not change my room
Left me cold in the room despite walking down to reception twice around 3am.
I left room around to 4am in the morning
Left at reception with luggages
very freezing at the reception too
left the hotel in the middle of the night due this poor service
no apologies

Dartford is a very busy place , however their are hidden gems and villages on the outskirts. Blue Water shopping centre is in the heart which is stunning. I prefer to get the train than drive to avoid the heavy traffic . In less than 40 minutes on the train you are in central London .

Overall stay was good, location was not so great and getting to and from due to heavy congestion and traffic was frustratingly difficult, also housekeeping failed to meet average standards for this type of hotel.

Picked for the location, room was fine, albeit the carpet needs a bloody good clean. Food in the restaurant in the evening was overpriced, breakfast was OK, the hot selection was good, the continental meats etc weren't fresh. The pool is filthy, needs a really good scrub. Had to ask 3 times for bathrobes, eventually gave up and stayed at reception until thry brought them to us. Was supposedly "upgraded" on arrival, this was to a room directly above a function room hosting a wedding - typing this review at 23.45 and rhe music is still pumping! Given the size of the hotel, I dont understand why anyone would have been roomed so close to a party room with a booking.
Despite the cost of the room, we were also charged parking and the use of the pool facilities, never had that at a venue before.

Reception area is modern and spacious. Our bedroom & bathroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Maid service was consistent providing we had vacated the room. Lakeview 360 was just a short walk from the hotel, a lovely lake and walking path. The Lakeview 360 cafe was great value for money and the staff are equally friendly - especially Suzy.
I was honestly surprised to see a fridge and a microwave in the hotel room which I honestly did enjoy seeing. I paid £49 for the night and with a fridge and microwave included that's a great price. I like the biscuits which were included that is a great touch and truth is, if I'm in the area I would stay there again.
Standard hotel and very affordable. It's close to the Queen Elizabeth Dartford crossing, so easy to locate when coming off the M25. You can also take a walk or taxi or short drive to Asda and other cafe/fast food place near by.
