It was ok for the 1 night . Pretty basic Probs wouldn't stay any longer than that .

Check in went smoothly and room was between levels and first thing I observed was had quite a dated feel to the carpets and decor which was fine as it is an old castle. My room was quite spacious and actually had an old style room key which is quite unusual. The air conditioning worked well which was great as it was a very warm evening.

Breakfast cooked fresh and very tasty. Quaint and cosy country pub with a very helpful proprietor. Our room was very big and spotlessly clean with a sofa in the room to add to the comfort. Big bathroom and big shower with hot water. Lovely garden area outside for a drink in the sunshine

Was where we needed to be and full marks to the lady who sorted out the TV's for a number of residents to watch the Euros football final together which made for a nice atmosphere Room was well appointed and the bed a good size. Really good value for money

The renovated building is lovely and literally opposite the train station, super convenient if you are travelling by train, or a short walk into the town centre. The room was huge, the bathroom was large, and there were some very nice touches in the room. The desk area was great if you needed to work during your stay there. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we liked the philanthropic aspect of the property.
Likes- all the facilities, hospitality. Accuracy of information, easy to find the location, nice car parking, ground floor level, easy check -in with flexible times.
Dislikes- No Oven/ grill ( I know this when booking anyway)
