Isle Of Mull Hotel and Spa, hotel in Craignure

Situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay, The Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa has stunning views over to Morvern and the west coast.

There was a lot that was good about the hotel, and some of the staff (e.g. the lady in charge of the restaurant - both morning and evening) worked very hard. Breakfast was good and service was very quick. Swimming facilities next door were also appreciated. Room was spacious.

Poppies Cottage, hotel in Craignure

Featuring a sauna, Poppies Cottage is located in Craignure. The property has sea views. Guests can make use of a garden.

The cottage is spacious with a large log burner (not needed luckily due to the weather!), comfy sofas and a dining area. there is some outside seating and the kitchen is well equipped. There is lots of space for parking and wonderful views onto the coast. The location is great for both the Fishnish ferry and the Craignure ferry and although it is quite isolated its location it is only a short drive to either Salen or Craignure for supplies and coffee shops etc. Lovely walks available right from the door of the the cottage up the hill or down in Fishnish forest where there is also a wildlife hut you can sit in and watch for Otters, Sea Eagles, herons and a lot more!

A very cosy, and characterful, little cottage. It was a lovely, comfortable haven from all the rain that fell when we were visiting.

The spa hotel is a gorgeous place to stay. Craignure has beautiful nature whilst also being close to the ferry terminal. A wonderful relaxing and restorative place to stay especially after a day exploring Mull, Iona and Staffa.

Eat here - but not in the bar. Dogs welcome.

Eat here - but not in the bar. Dogs welcome. Do not stay overnight - it's filthy. If you like drunks swearing their heads off in the bar and leaving their barking dog in the garden outside your room until 1:10 am you'll love it.

Very handy for the ferry terminal - we enjoyed watching the boats from our bedroom window. Lovely Inn with friendly staff and good food. It was very busy both nights we were there with both locals and visitors which is wonderful to seeas so many places are closing. Lovely location for exploring the island.

Great location for exploring the island.

Great location for exploring the island. Island is very scenic. Ferry service was very good. Roads are mostly single track with passing places. So allow more time for journeys to Tobermory etc. cafes, restaurants etc are struggling to get staff at present. So this can affect service levels a bit.

Craignure was a great location for us--centrally located to be able to drive up to Tobermory one day, and visit Iona the next. The Inn had good breakfasts and dinners and easy-going hospitable hosts.

There was no additional fee for bringing a dog which is very welcome after recently getting charged up to £30 per night for a dog at some hotels. The bedlinen was clean. The food was generally of good quality and good helpings. We read the reviews on Booking.com before booking and thought "it can't be as bad as that" but we were mistaken. If you are stuck for one night and have nowhere else to go then try it. It's not suitable for an extended stay.

Simply outstanding. The accommodation exceeded our expectations - the chalet was clean as a whistle and the facilities were better than some hotels and apartments we've stayed in. A superb bathroom and really comfy beds. The view out across the Sound of Mull was amazing and we can't wait to come back.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Extremely dog friendly which is ideal for exploring the outdoors and 100% the friendliest staff we have ever encountered in any hotel we have ever stayed in. Great assortment of teas/coffees/treats in the room as well.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the ferry. The breakfast was nice. Rooms are clean. The swimming pool is good for swimmers (not a place for kids to play).
