Beautiful property, room clean and comfortable. Good breakfast choice. We chose Craigellachie Lodge for its proximity to the Macallan Distillery. It was perfectly situated .. only a 5 minute drive. Would recommend.

A gorgeous little hotel, with heaps of character and the perfect location. Food in the restaurant was also excellent. We were thrilled to have found the Mash Tun.

This is a fantastic hotel. It is historic yet contemporary inside with grand interior furnishings and appearance. The staff was amazing and so helpful and accomodating. It is probably the best European hotel I have stayed in. There are so many good things to share about this facility.
To edit: The mile long tree lined High Street has an attractive square and village green and situated right in the centre of the Village is the Aberlour Hotel.

Central location, comfortable room, helpful staff.
The breakfast menu was ideal- you’re able to order a small cooked breakfast eg a bacon roll and cup of coffee at a reasonable price. There’s also the option of a full Scottish.

Everything! Very homely and comfortable. Everything supplied for weary travellers. And a hot tub! Great location too. Ann and Gary went above and beyond.
Craigallachie itself is very small. If you are out and about in the car it is perfect for you. The Highlander Inn was a great place to eat. Aberlour just 2 miles away was in walking distance and the walk along the river was nice. You had to walk along the main road to get to the path though. The cottage is just off the main road but it is quite peaceful. You don`t hear the traffic inside really. Unfortunately we didn`t get to many tourist places as they were still closed.

Close to lots of things to do indoors and out.
Close to lots of things to do indoors and out. Enjoyed the trip even though most of the distilleries were closed. Had a great visit to the cooperage and lots of walks which were accessible and manageable by us.

Very relaxed and relaxing.
Very relaxed and relaxing. Friendly laid back staff, no fuss about checkin or checkout times, or about dogs being a bit boisterous. The restaurant is informal, in a bar setting, and the food was good standard. Lovely walks nearby, just right for a short winter break with roaring log fire and a cosy whisky bar.

A relaxing stay but we did have to eat in more than anticipated as it was difficult to get booked in to any of the local restaurants/pubs. We managed to get booked in to the Copper Dog on our last night and really enjoyed it.
Small hotel that provides excellence size of room, high ceiling, large bathroom (we booked family room), adequate furnitures in the room. They have a small kitchen, which makes pretty good dinner and breakfast. I am a frequently traveler, and not staying small hotel or Airbnb room, I booked this room based on the pictures showed on the web, and price. I didn’t expect the facility was really nice, like a good hotel (not a motel!) room. Highly recommend.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location, being so close to the Speyside Way is absolutely perfect for a walk and also if you have a dog. The wonderful example of Thomas Telford’s engineering - the Spey Bridge at Craigellachie is also a short walk from the Highlander Inn. The food and the vast selection of malt whiskies was just a delight. This will now be our preferred place to stay when visiting the Speyside area.
The hotel was within walking distance to the River Spey. the area was so peaceful and quiet, The hotel had a outside seating area. The staff could not do enough for you and the food tasted great.
