Excellent Inn for a stay before flying out of Bristol airport, what a great way to start our holiday!
The room was lovely with an excellent bathroom/ shower, we had dinner and breakfast - great food and a real treat. The staff are attentive and friendly and we felt very well looked after, especially by Jack who is a real asset to the team.
We parked our car at a farm in the village who do airport parking/transfers, so convenient and a great service - www.bristolairportparking.uk

We have 2 dogs so the accommodation was perfect for them and us. There was also a green path just across the road which was perfect for walking with thee dogs.
Accommodation had lovely big rooms which were lovely and clean and I can't think of anything we needed that wasn't provided. Fantastic to have the cafe a few steps away which served most excellent breakfasts.
Lovely staff who were friendly and helpful and who couldn't do enough for you.
Would certainly stay again.

Great location, quiet in the countryside. Welcoming and helpful staff, food menu is limited but fine for me. Fussy eaters or Vegans may struggle. Good selection of drinks.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the comfort and hospitality of the home for the price we were paying if I was to fault anything it would be the size of the cooked breakfast but only to find a fault perfectly adequate for us

The accommodation is simple but adequate. I wanted a single room no fuss and this was provided.
The location is utterly peaceful and was the best ! Swallows soared and the enormous men dip sky was beautiful.
I do recommend the service and the food , and I like the staff, they were single bar men running the food and the bar. However the atmosphere and they were chilled

My wife and I like explore the local areas to where we stay, but due to the bad weather, we only saw a little of what is a beautiful village. If we were staying longer, we would of brought more appropriate attire.
The food at The Nelson Arms across the road was not bad. We enjoyed it.
On one hand I would like to keep that little gem a secret, because if too many people know about it, I won’t be able to book back in. On the other hand Steve and Mandy deserve to be mentioned as their standard both customer service and quality of stay is above the standard you find in hotels!
You find the beeches easily and it is only a 12 min drive away to the airport. They kindly offered to take me to the airport in case I needed too and I would like to thank them again for this lovely gesture! I will be back soon!

I planned surprise birthday party for my husband's 60th. Mendip Spring Hotel staff were great at keeping this a secret even under pressure. They were great at deflecting and going with the flow to ensure that the surprise remained a surprise. Thank you- you were ace!
Needed accommodation for an early morning flight from Bristol airport. Spent the afternoon at the hotel, had a great meal and relaxing evening. Room was spacious and fantastic location for airport. Will definitely use again
The hotel was clean and very comfortable staff were so helpful and friendly , loved it was so close to Bristol airport which takes a huge strain out of the trip , having lots of traffic issues on the m5
