All the staff are welcoming and friendly.
The courtyard room was spacious, comfortable and spotless, we were given chocolates as a welcome back, a really lovely gesture. Breakfast selection is amazing. Relaxed evenings in the library with real fire and tasty snacks. Altogether a great experience.

Chippenham has a great variety of shops including lots of lovely charity shops for meandering around, most large banks (unusual to see this when you live in the South East with all the branch closures, so it was noticeable) and all of the amenities you'd expect in a small town. Lots of options for coffee shops or dining, nice walks and a historic, quaint feel to the place.
Lovely to see people feeding the swans, ducks and pigeons by the river.
We visited in December, but I bet it's even more lovely in the spring/summer. I would definitely go back!

Chippenham is full of quant little villages with real character. There are amazing walks through the Cotswold hills and forests. Lovely country pubs and restaurants to drink and eat at. Don’t forget to visit the Farm Shops for great meat, vegetables and cafes.

We never actually entered Chippenham because of the bypass around it. However, the location of the hotel was superb for visiting tourist attractions in the area (Castle Combe, Lacock, Avebury, Malmesbury, and Bradford on Avon on our way home).

Whilst the weather wasn't great we went out of the hotel to walk around the grounds golf course. It was bracing and beautiful in equal measure. To top it the herd of deer galloping across our path made it an absolute joy. So beautiful we had such a magical time.

Lovely market town with local parking ( pay & display).
Lovely market town with local parking ( pay & display). Most amenities are on offer here including local shops and chain stores. Lovely park near the river and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Like all high streets there were some vacant shops and a lot of charity shops. Some lovely, very old buildings which are well preserved. Plenty of eateries.

It was nice to have a place to park our car without an extra fee. The hotel has a lovely garden area which made it seem less in a busy area. It was close to every place we wanted to walk to. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they kept our luggage for us until the rooms were ready. Since it was raining, this was a great benefit. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent. The food in the restaurant was excellent with a very good choice on the two menus. The area is very quiet and a nice village in easy reach of Chippenham and surrounding places
Lovely renovated coach house on a farm. Really comfortable and well-equipped. Not far from Chippenham and local amenities (supermarkets, restaurants, town centre, etc) Not far from Bath for a day out. Will definitely look forward to visiting again
Beautiful Manor House hotel and grounds. Well-appointed clean room. Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely atmospheric restaurant with great cuisine. Good location for historic Wiltshire (we visited Stonehenge).
