We went to Chichester to attend the Christmas Carol Service at the cathedral, which was wonderful. Chichester is a beautiful city and the accommodation was conveniently located near the cathedral and the city centre with its excellent variety of shops.

    Really interesting and attractive town.

Really interesting and attractive town. Lots to see and do in and around the town. But there is a lot of traffic getting into and bypassing the town so we were happy to leave the car in the provided parking space for 2 days and to do the exploring outside the town on the day we checked out

Fast and frequent train service to and from London (via London Gatwick Airport). Love the fact that it is pedestrianised. Pretty buildings. Easy to navigate. Several independent menswear / womenswear shops, pubs, cafes and restaurant, charity shops plus SpaceNK and Albaray.

We really enjoyed walking around the city centre which is very compact and walkable. In particular the city walls walk which takes you around the city and close to several historic sites. We do detoured from the city wall walk to see the canal basin where there is an exhibition and café. We also visited the Novium Museum which was excellent and took in a show at the festival theatre in the evening. On a previous one day visit we had been to the Cathedral and Pallant House Gallery, which are also well worth visiting. The first night we dined at Zizzi, which was very good and the second at the Raymond Blanc restaurant which was excellent.

A beautiful City with plenty to explore on foot from the City centre. Loved the Bishops palace gardens and the cathedral both of which were free. Lots of shops and restaurants. We didn’t get to the canal or nearby beaches due to time constraints.

The Chichester Cathedral is an absolute must, as is The Aviation Museum! Another worthy visit is Weald & Downland Living Mueum! Bosham is a lovely village to walk around with a very tranquil small harbour! You won't have time to get bored in and around Chicester, there is so much to do and see!

Lovely small hotel with spacious communal areas in the bar, gardens and restaurant to relax. Perfect for a weekend seeing Chichester, Bracklesham and West Wittering beach. Restaurant was flexible to cater for vegans with hot breakfast, although not much option from the continental buffet, could do with plant based yoghurt and milk for cereals. Equally room had no UHT plant milk sachets and biscuits contained animal products and allergens. Fantastic Indian restaurant just across the road, Thyme and Chillies.

Pleasantly surprising! Lovely hotel, very clean. The swimming pool was a nice surprise! Out of the town centre (but close enough) so nice and quiet overnight. Short drive into the town centre. Booking directly with the hotel seemed to realise a better price including breakfast than we had paid for on Booking.com.
