Breakfast was good, breakfast room nicely decorated. Location was good, walking distance to centre.
Cambridge is just wonderful and plenty of amazing parks.
Cambridge is just wonderful and plenty of amazing parks. Transport are excellent but if the weather is nice just rent a bike because South England is very plain and beautiful (biker paradise). Rent a car just for one day and travel around some gorgeous villages around (like Hemingford) where you'll find ethereal peace and no flock of tourists. The English drivers are polite and not aggressive like the Italian ones.. For the best coffee we suggest The Locker. We are in love with british pub (Fort St.George, The Eagle) and Green King Cambridshire beer... try Abbot. We were very lucky to attend the Cambridge Folk Festival which we really really loved.. not just for the great music but for the kind of atmosphere which can be found only in Britain...

The property was just ok.
The property was just ok. It’s been renovated to a poor standard. The shower didn’t drain well, the bathroom handle came off and there are nails sticking out from where the skirting board had been removed and not replaced. Generally appears to be a rush job. Cheap fittings.
The plus side - heating is good and hot water. Bed a bit creaky and soft.
Location good for centre and river. local pub has live music and South Indian restaurant just down the road. . Quiet.
