The staff were lovely and helpful, and the area is lovely
Avec ses bâtiments à colombages, ses remparts presque entiers et son patrimoine romain d'une grande richesse, la belle ville de Chester se trouve à la frontière du pays de Galles.
La porte la plus au sud des remparts donne sur le fleuve Dee, et la route qui mène vers le nord est l'une des quatre artères de la ville suivant les routes romaines d'origine. À l'est, les jardins romains sont équipés d'un système de chauffage au sol reconstruit.
