Was OK for an overnight stop. Am disabled on crutches.
Was OK for an overnight stop. Am disabled on crutches. I had an accessible room . The bed was too low for me and too soft. The breakfast was small for a full English. I thought it was a bit overpriced at £135 a night

A convenient and relaxed place to stay just off the M25 and M3. A good stop over if travelling for work or pleasure. Easy train link to London.
Nice campsites nearby as well as pubs and hotels. Attractive area to explore.

We only stayed for one night even though we had booked 3 . Didn't go to Chertsey,
We were so cross that the cabin I had booked from the photo a few months ago just wasn't there !! A converted single garage just wasn't what we were expecting...or wanted !@

We stayed in Chertsey for a trip to Thorpe Park which was a 5 minute drive away so great location. Next door to The Crown where we stayed was a Pizza Express where we dined the first evening. Did not explore the area otherwise.

I was born in Chertsey but haven't had much time to revisit all of the lovely open walking and cycling routes close to the town centre. The history of the long gone Abbey and museum are fascinating around the vicinity of the Crown Hotel. I would recommend Abbey Grounds, Chertsey River walks and the Meads for lovely walks and parks. There are many activities for singles, couples and families with nearby rivers and towns, let alone London and train services.

Great walks by the Thames.
Great walks by the Thames. Watched boats go through the lock and waved to boat owners. Good taxi service. Close to Woking for shopping (,great centre) as well as theatre and cinema also in shopping centre. Car parking rather confusing though.

Although we were moved into a different apartment in the complex, it was still just a 4-5 minute walk to the railway station. The facilities were excellent with all mod cons including washer-dryer, full kitchen including dishwasher. The apartment was bright, modern and secure with great parking. Walking into the town centre is convenient and Chertsey is very nice with a good shopping street, terrific selection of restaurants and pubs, a big supermarkets.
On the whole hotel and grounds staff exceptional. Breakfast a la carte menu left a lot to be desired; head for the continental… Someone needs to have a word with the breakfast chef lol Golf facilities outstanding - just make sure you check into hotel ‘before’ teeing off or refunding the difference between hotel resident rates and non hotel resident rates is a play off between which golf shop assistant happens to be on the till at the time.
Everything about this property is excellent with a big bonus of parking on site. The triple room was excellent for my friend and her 2 teenage children as was our room and the single room. Food at the hotel is excellent value for money and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Ideal location to visit Thorpe park.
Beautifully decorated room overlooking the beer garden & river. We spent the day at Thorpe Park, it was good finding this hotel that was only a few minutes away. Allowed us a late check-in.
