The rooms were beautifully decorated with high ceilings typical of a Georgian home. The beds were amazingly comfortable with excellent pillows. The breakfast was fine and the staff pleasant.

Also Wetherspoons Mill on the Water on Bath Road.Good value but to eat outside you risk the smell of the ciggy smokers!

The gateway to Cotswolds and close to numerous places to visit in and around the region. We spent two nights at Cheltenham and wished we could spend more time there. We had a rental car with us which was extremely useful to explore the region and visit various places. Driving in the Cotswolds is a skill in itself, with its narrow, yet quaint roads.

The flat was great. We loved it from the moment we arrived.
The flat was great. We loved it from the moment we arrived. Nicely decorated with all the necessary amenities. It was very clean - towels, bedding etc. Two TVs- one in the bedroom, one in the sitting room.
Nice sofa and furniture. The location was excellent- in the town centre. We could easily walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We would not look for anywhere else if we were to go to Cheltenham again.

Cheltenham is a beautiful town with much to see and do.
Cheltenham is a beautiful town with much to see and do. Surrounding areas are also charming and it is an excellent place to tour the Cotswolds, but it was very busy with a lot of traffic and road works on a lot of the main roads surrounding the town.

This trip was a girls' weekend away.
This trip was a girls' weekend away. The shopping in Cheltenham is good but quite spread out so wear comfy shoes.
The shopping is in two areas, near the Brewery quarter which has a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars for eating and drinking ( fabulous cocktails in the Cosy Club, and great food in Alchemist with a DJ playing some great tunes on Friday night.) and usual high street shops. Then in Montpellier area, the shops are more individual and boutique style, with great restaurants and bars. We ate in Ivy which was lovely, beautiful inside with really great food.
We walked mainly while we were in Cheltenham and it felt pretty safe even in the evening walking back. We did also use Uber which as always was easy and convenient.
We loved our stay at Clarence Court, it was on the side of a quiet little square turning left out of the hotel it was a10 mins walk into Cheltenham High Street, turning right out of the hotel takes you to a lovely park.
The breakfast was perfectly cooked and was so delicious.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
I loved Wellington the room guard 😊 who welcomed us on arrival in our room.
Room was clean and spacious and it was lovely to have a bath and separate shower in the bathroom.
Was a bonus to have free parking
Location - near to the centre of Cheltenham and near to family members whom we were visiting. Value for money - hotel/overnight accommodation prices were high overall, the 27th and 28th October being the start of the Cheltenham racing season (which we hadn’t realised). Clematis House was excellent value for money compared with other possibilities we considered. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the quality was exceptional.
This was one of the best nights stays we have had, a group of 4 businessmen working in Cheltenham. Could not book 4 hotel rooms in the same hotel due to Races.
After this stay we would book again without hesitation. Perfect location in the city centre.
Sharing a house was much more relaxing than hotel cars and restaurants.
Had everything we needed and more. Host was helpful and made us feel very welcome. Apartment was spacious and comfortable and close to town centre. Continental breakfast was more generous than some top hotel we have stayed at.
Room size excellent and very modern and spacious bathroom
Food at breakfast was very good.
Hotel situated in a quiet tree lined road close to Cheltenham amenities
No issues with parking
