I stayed in the studio room which was perfect for me as I needed somewhere to stay between work assignments and wanted to be fairly self sufficient. I had a really warm welcome and the staff were lovely. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but there were lots of people there partaking so it is a good sign and a great place to go for that. I visited a local castle which was really interesting and there is lots to see in the area so I can thoroughly recommend staying here.

Amazing place to stay! Place was spotless and had everything you needed. Loved the coal fire. Son loved the fact he had the whole upstairs to himself and his own wee livingroom area. Would highly recommend!

Monymusk Church, which is good to visit, is one of the oldest in Scotland. Monymusk is approximately 6 miles away.

the hotel was beautifully furnished and very comfortable with a lovely roaring fire in the lounge.It was in a very isolated position with no facilities near so the hotel was the only choice for dining. Chapel of Garioch is only a few houses with not much to see but the scenery round about was lovely.

This is a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Typical old fashioned Scottish grand house with sweeping gardens and specimen trees (two very old monkey puzzles at the front) and views of Bennachie. The staff were all fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good (and lots of choice). The room and bed were comfortable, nice hot shower (bathroom was modern even though the rest of the hotel is historic). All you need in a hotel tbh.
We were blown away by this Hotel and was the perfect location for our visit to Bennachie Forest for a work trip. The staff were amazing and our room was really comfortable and Immaculately clean. The only little downside was the food was a little on the expensive side however it was excellent quality and the service was brilliant. Will definitely be back.
