HELLO, Excellent staff very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Morning breakfast had options available a Continental breakfast and a hot breakfast. The reception area is spacious and has a sitting area and a bar to order drinks and they had a vending machine for cold drinks and snacks. My room is amazing a spacious room a big bathroom and washing products available. And also provide tea bags and instant coffee sachets for guests to use during their stay. It was my first time staying at a "Holiday Inn Express Hotel"!!. I was very impressed . Thank-you for making my stay memorable.

We often stay here before an early morning flight from EMA and this was such an occasion.
The room is fine.
The pool, hot tub sauna and steam room are great to relax in the afternoon. Just be aware that the pool closes down at 4pm for swimming lessons.
The duvet is much too warm and prevented a good night's sleep.
Convenient for 1 night stopover for airport. 24 HR bus service. Couple of decent Indian restaurants, Gandis restaurant in the village was my best ever curry although we did not stay long enough to sample the others

Room and Hotel fine.
Room and Hotel fine. One draught Lager on offer no beer only bottles. The menu offerings was not as on the Webb. No Steak no cheese and biscuits had to ask. Choice of three sweets only no fish veggie limited My wife had to have Goat cheese and salad as a main no salad dressing. One starter was off comment was it’s a new menu. But breakfast was good.

Warm, clean and comfortable but breakfast was very very basic and diy. I felt that value for money was not good. We had a change of circumstances which ment we could not travel on the Friday(booked Friday and Saturday night) but had contacted them and asked if we could change the dates to the Saturday and Sunday night instead. They said no that they were not going to do that that booking would not allow it so we had to just turn up on the Saturday having paid for the Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile we made another booking for the Sunday night and guess what happened… they gave us the same room we had been in!

Interesting place with range of ages of buildings.
Interesting place with range of ages of buildings. Lots of food outlets, looked good. Manor Hotel very faded glory: avoid.
Bus to Nottingham or Derby runs all night because of the airport. We went bus pass to Nottingham, very well worth a visit. An attractive town that could do with a good clean.
Best fabric shop my wife has seen in this country. Rolls of high quality end of line from local mills for sod-all! We brought back 2, but will be going again no doubt.
Very close to M1 and A50 so very easy to get to.

Time has caught up with the hotel since the advert was written. Sadly, my room was no longer 'bright and modern' and the shower definitely wan't a 'power shower'.
The thermostat wasn't there. The room was cold.
The TV remote had two parts mission.
The carpet was 'suspect'.
No hand soap. When asked, the hotel had "run out".
Tea and coffee was provided, but no milk. I had to go back to ask for some.
IKEA coffee mug still had a dirty sticker on the bottom.
Bathroom was.... not perfect.

The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was huge and the bathroom perfect. Good lighting and mirrors for getting ready. Some nice quirks in the room. The breakfast the next day was included and it was hot, fresh and tasty with plenty of choices from breads, fruits, cereal, continental and the whole shebang of a full English. We had chosen this hotel based on the swimming pool and it didn’t disappoint.
The room was immaculate and well-appointed, providing all the comforts we needed for a restful night before the festival excitement. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. What stood out the most was the hotel's convenient location. It was just a short drive to the festival grounds, making it the perfect base for our adventure. We also appreciated the ample parking space, which added to the overall convenience.
Proximity to East midlands airport. You can park your car in the hotel carboark and walk across to the terminal. It's not expensive to park there if you buy a parking package with your stay
Clean, spacious compared to some hotels I've been in, lots of mirrors - zero complaints, especially at the price. Yes, the TV could be bigger, but I didn't use it much anyway!
