Location is in the centre, easy to access everything, car parking available and a lot of spaces, so we did not have trouble finding a spot, breakfast was delicious and a lot of options. Bed was very comfortable and large and perfect for a one night stay.

Martin is the perfect host - welcoming and attentive which made our stay very special. Our en-suite room was spotlessly clean, had a very comfortable bed and was equipped with everything one would want for the stay. The breakfasts were delicious, varied and very generous in their portions. I am gluten free and very much enjoyed Christine’s scrumptious, home made GF bread. The place is immaculate, i can see the owners have been great thought when they create the apartments. At the entrance, there's a photo frame of how it was before it's current settings - it's definitely a home outside your home. We wish we could stay longer, not only from its cleanliness but the tranquility of the surroundings with the added bonus of the view of the animals in the fields and the ruins of the Castle.

It was so rural and out of the way. It was peaceful and very dark at night. Just what we were after. The owner was very helpful and friendly and close by, so you know you are not totally isolated.

Carmarthen is a nice little town, big enough to be interesting but not too big to explore. The remains of the Castle are easily accesible and there's a nice park on the outskirts. If you're travelling by train, the train station is a reasonable walk from the town centre.

Laugharne is an interesting little place, and not too far from the many fine Pembrokeshire beaches all along the coast from Saundersfoot to Freshwater West.
If you stay in Carmarthen be sure to go to Llandeilo where you will find Gold Mines and National Trust’s Dinefwr Park and Castle is well worth a stop.

We saw the town on a Sunday. Vey quiet.
We saw the town on a Sunday. Vey quiet. However, there is more to the town than first glance (just), but too much retail - so much unoccupied. Given history, very little historic class on view. The hey day has gone, what now? Perfect accommodation, very close to town.

There are some really interesting shops and businesses in the town centre. Sadly, in common with many towns, there are too many empty/closed shops and rundown buildings. That said Carmarthen's location is ideal for visiting the NBGW
Really enjoyed my stay at the 'Pantyrathro Hilton'. The owner Ken was a really nice guy and very helpful. The hostel had a kitchen which was handy for cooking a meal in and a nice bar downstairs where you can relax with a pint and chat with Ken or the other guests. If I'm ever back in South Wales I'll be booking here again.
The room and hotel were clean the staff were great, location was good as it was in the centre of town. The brakfast was great too .The only downside was someone was hammering the door to come in at 5.15 am maybe someone should be on site to deal with these
situations ?
I really liked the personal, they were so great, had a good laugh with them during the evening , they were amazing 🤩
Room was exactly as described, clean and very comfortable beds.
Hotel is literally in town centre :)
As we only needed a bed for the night, Ivy Bush Hotel was fine, good comfy bed, nice breakfast and ideal location. Don't know about other facilities as did not use any.
