About the resort itself, it has many activities for kids *which you have to pay for separately. Food there is not great. Cheap indeed, but not great. Breakfast portions are too small. The nisa supermarket there saves your life, however, closes at 8pm, not helpful at all. Good arcade, many choices of machines. Little bit overcrowded but there's not much we can do about it. Staff in general OK but majority slow-paced and you can see they're not happy to be there. Lack of experience and not helpful w customers at all. The information about entertainment passes is not clear. We didn't decide straight away aboit the passes and someone literally went to our caravan to 'charge us' and collect the money. Optional is different from 'we bought the passes for you, left at your caravan and now we need the money back in cash' besides that, £25 pp (even the children) It was a very uncomfortable situation and honeslty £25 pp for the swimming pool sounds excessive considering the time we're aloud to use the pool (2h max) and judging by the size/type of pools they offer. I would suggest get the caravan, eat in pubs/restaurants in Rye and go to beach, castle etc in the area and forget about the camber resort

Big sand beach great dunes and views.

Big sand beach great dunes and views. Let down by careless tourists leaving litter on the beach. Carparks inadequate to cater for the peak volume of traffic. If the Dungeness Road is blocked gridlock occurs leading to hours of delays getting into or out of Camber. The Pontins site is derelict leading to additional pressures on the Parkdean caravan park. Facilties are tired, dated, inadequate and generally do not work here. Best visited as a day trip and stay in Dungeness in an Air B&B.

Its a perfect retreat for a family away from the world of technology and fast pace life and to relax at the resort with many activities for the kids, the beach is a bit of a walk but i mamaged to drive closer and find street parking a short walk to the beach avoiding high daily parking fees. Overall its a great experience and time away to have quality family time and to enjoy the little things

If all food and drink establishments had been open, it would have been perfect. Unfortunately in middle of May everywhere near us except The Owl pub, was closed. The Owl was superb, great food and lovely atmosphere
