checking process, was charged three parking's by mistake of the person trying to help me check-in as when I arrived there was no staff there and I was alone to try figure it out myself, also ordered room service and the web page said failed after two orders but charged my card each time so ended up paying 3 times for food but was issued refund at the bar but I had to go down and sort this out myself, also needed the physical card i used to get the refund which was annoying as nowadays everything is done virtually. Felt like a scam to be honest

We visit Bury regularly to see relatives.
We visit Bury regularly to see relatives. The surrounding area and parks are very good, scenery quite dramatic - bleak in places. A lot of history from the industrial revolution and textile mills. Enjoyed visiting the station and seeing the vintage trains, still being used. Disappointed that Bury market is only open a few days each week, we could not go in the indoor market & shopping areas with the dog.

Bury is pleasant, there is enough to do, restaurants and pubs, walking and some shopping. We were there for work so we did not have much time to look around and the weather was awful so no chance of walking far either.

Bury Town Centre has plenty of good shops and the famous Bury Market is worth a visit.
Ramsbottom is a pretty village ( not far from the Eagle and Child) and venture out a little bit to Whitefield for good restaurants.

Good location for our needs, within a mile of the local parkrun, town centre, and wedding we were attending at the Village Hotel. Very close to Aldi. Clean. Everything one needs in a house seemed to be there. Easy check in. Comfortable beds. Nice loft conversion for addition beds.

The young lady on reception was a joy for a weary traveller, such a brilliant front facing member of staff for the hotel.
