The venue was beautiful, several shared areas filled with books, games and comfortable seating. There was a small courtyard full of flowers with a central fountain that was also very fitting with the aesthetic.
The room was well stocked with complementary water, tea and coffee and toiletries.
The bed was also very comfortable, firm yet very soft.

The Columbia has been open for several decades and is somewhat run-down. It has a generous car-park to the rear of the building, and is easily accessible from Wellingborough town centre. Despite being on a main road, I fond it generally quiet.
When I had problems operating the TV in the bedroom, the manager was very generous with his time helping to bring it to life.
