The location was perfect, central to town, so close to the sea front. The accomodation is on the High Street but you'd never know, the flat was immaculate, peaceful, I didn't really want to go out it was SO comfortable and cosy. Everything had been thought of. I will definitely be back. A little secret hidaway.

Burnham is a small compact coastal town, with a good shopping street which runs parallel to the promenade, with mainly individual shops. There are several pubs and cafes, a cinema, a theatre, a large beach cafe and a small pier.
Long walks can be taken on the sandy beach, with a unusual lighthouse to walk to a few hundred yards from the promenade.

We didn’t go on the beach but there were a lot of different restaurants available of all genres. Charity and gift shops in abundance within a short walk of the hotel meant passing quite a few pleasant hours. The bus stop opposite our hotel made exploring the area further very easy and relaxing.

Good mixture of local businesses and big chains on the high street. Plenty of pubs and cafes. All you need from a seaside town. Not many cash machines. Litter in lots of places but that seems to be everywhere these days.
Would recommend Superchips and Esplanade for fish and chips. Apex Leisure park had a lovely lake to walk round and you could feed the ducks.

Love Burnham - it's so flat, perfect for those with mobilty issues and great for cycling or walking.
Loads of cafes/restaurants etc, a theatre/cinema and just enough shops in case you've forgotten something.
Great weekly quizes at the Ritz Club and Victoria Pub.
Various supermarkets in the area for groceries etc.
Loads of areas to park/lock your cycle in the town area.
Chandhi Indian restaurant a must for a visit.
Everyone is so friendly

I liked the beach, which was long and good for a stroll.
I liked the beach, which was long and good for a stroll. Unfortunately the weather was changeable while I was there. I liked the town, lots of different shops and good places to eat. Brean down is a short drive which is a National Trust area. It is well worth climbing the steps to walk to the end of this "natural pier". Fantastic views. I could have stayed longer and would love to go back. I would definitely stay in the Royal Clarence again

The hosts were very welcoming, and made an extra fuss of us because it was my partners birthday. The location is great and really easy to get into the town or onto the beach and there is plenty of free parking. There was plenty of storage in the room and the room itself was styled nicely and felt like a luxury hotel room. We also had the breakfast on one of the days which was freshly prepared and delicious!
We were greeted by a lovely staff member who took us stright to our room every though we were an hour early.
The room was specious and had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
We had a lovely lunch, again served with a smile.
Later we came back to the hotel for a drink and game of pool, again the bar staff we're friendly and helpful.
Excellent friendly, helpful hosts. Really tasty and generous breakfast included homemade jams - delicious! Lovely quiet location, handy for access to M5 as well as inland to central Somerset in one direction and local beaches as well.
