Our room was very comfortable, the bed and bedding was also very comfortable. The room was very spacious, with very good facilities.
The breakfast provided was perfect with a good choice of cooked food and a buffet of fruit, breads, yogurt, pastries and juice.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The Widemouth Manor is a warm friendly pub/ hotel and looks out over the sandy bay which is famous for its surfing. Just off the A39, access to Devon and Cornwall could not be better.

I was travelling to visit family as I grew up in Bude which is great place for kids, walkers and surfers. There is plenty of good accommodation but not were I stayed this time. If you stay a bit further out in the country the prices are cheaper but there are some really good cottages and barns and it's nice to get away from the summer crush in Bude itself.

Bude is a great place to visit with its close proximity to Cornwall and NorthDevon, visited Clovelly over the border whilst we were there, well worth a visit to a very unspoilt quirky village but fitness is a plus out of season as it’s a long old walk up the cobbled streets!

Beautiful scenery, i'd recommend summerleaze beach as it is by far the best beach we've visited. Id personally stay close to town as otherwise you're out in the sticks with very few nice eatery or entertainment options about and taxis are hard to come by. The big sheep adventure park is well worth a visit for kids 3+. Great walking routes for dog 🐕 families too

The room is really modern and clean, hotel is very well situated, plenty of car park spaces, restaurant, sea and bars just around the corner. the only noise we heard in the morning were from the geese!
Our breakfast was ok, nice, but could be better if prepared on demand.
Really appreciated the little biscuit in our room and little departing gift.
We will definitely stay there again if we go back to Bude. Thank you
The hotel is set overlooking a picturesque gold course by the sea and is ideally situated in the centre of Bude, being a couple of minutes' walk from the shops and pubs/cafes and 5 mins or so walk to the main beach. Great room and friendly host. It is also less than 10 minute's walk to the bus stops towards Boscastle/Tintagel/Wadebridge and beyond. Good cooked breakfast as ell.
Saf was great. We were really made to feel at home. Room was perfect. It was warm but we were told if it got too hot to turn the rad down. Bedlinen very clean and comfy. 2 pillows each...perfect. Breakfast served full English. Wonderfully cooked. We will return when we need to go to Bude.
Thank-you Saf and Safs wife.
Best breakfast we had during our trip to the UK. The breakfast dishes can be ordered from a menu and are prepared to ones liking. The staff is very friendly. Bude beach is walkable distance from the hotel and one can have dinner at the pub in the hotel which serves great food but needs reservation.
