Staff very friendly and welcoming; bedroom very well designed, apart from the ongoing hotel fetish for multiple cushions, bathroom huge. Had dinner alone but dining tables widely spaced and well positioned, I never felt - on a very busy night - that as a single diner I was just an added extra, and the service was outstanding.

The Swan Inn is a great place to stay if you are attending a wedding at Coombe Lodge. Eleven of us stayed here and the staff couldn't be more helpful in every respect. Our rooms were beautiful, beds extremely comfortable and our food at dinner was yummy. Our daughter, husband and 8 month old baby stayed in an 'outside room' which gave them easy access to their car and all the baby gear!
The location is in an area of outstanding beauty and perfect for countryside walks.

Our flight was cancelled so we booked in last minute. We called the hotel to ask if there was a shuttle bus and they explained one had yet to be implemented as they were newly renovated however - they upgraded our room to an executive room for the inconvenience which was so very much appreciated as we’d already had such a dreadful day with our cancelled flight. Fatema (I think I’m spelling her name right) at the front desk was particularly lovely and helpful.

The welcome received by all staff was excellent. The room was comfortable and adequate for all our needs. The dinner was excellent , we didn't have breakfast due to ancestry departure.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with difficulty walking as it really is a long drag from the main road, plus you have to park across the road and the road is extremely busy with high speed traffic.
It is in a lovely setting just needs some TLC

Lovely property but in the wrong hands.
Lovely property but in the wrong hands. Mouldy fruit, old Lidl produce in the fridge, and everything inside done on the cheap. No oven which to me says not self catered as advertised. Wifi only in half the apartment - needs a signal booster installed. Shoddy kitchen utensils and dirty/dusty glasses and plates. Yuck. I'd rather stay home where I keep my place clean and buy nice things for my fridge.
