The restaurant was light and airy with a conservatory feel and both dinner and breakfast were superb with a great selection of food. The atmosphere in the hotel was cosy, particularly the small lounges with log-fires and the staff were all friendly and attentive.

The location was perfect (close to my mother's carehome), and we had a fabulous walk before dark, and a visit to the *remarkable* church in the village. It is a magical place, the pub/bar and location especially, and we did enjoy dinner in the restaurant.
