Great staff who gave us access to the lock-up garage to store our bikes. He couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. He was also on the bar Saturday night and cooking breakfast on Sunday morning! Twin room was fine - clean and comfy. Nothing special, but did the trick very nicely. Good location a little out of the centre, but only 10mins to walk. All good. Manager tried really hard to help us resolve our travel/logistics issues on Sunday morning when the train out of Brid was cancelled.

Too many seagulls making a mess of town.

Too many seagulls making a mess of town. Facilities were good along promenade but it would have been better if you could have washed your hands after being at toilet but unfortunately all sinks were out of order.

Gosh love Bridlington been coming years.

Gosh love Bridlington been coming years. Been twice this year already and got another booking.com booked to return in August. There’s so much to do there…beautiful beaches…lovely harbour. Beautiful boats…boat trips on The Yorkshire Belle…speed boat trips…fishing trips highly recommend the Yorkshire Rose and they provide all the equipment and bait. There’s a pirate boat for kids £3 per person great value. Lots of children crabbing. Lovely to see. There’s a massive car boot there weekly on Strawberry Fields on a Thursday and a bank holiday Monday and throughout the summer on Tuesdays too… There’s the typical arcades…lots of gift shops…fish and chips and all tastes catered for. It’s also worth checking out Bridlington Spa…we went on the comedy night there and had a real good night. The Sterling Castle has great gigs on usually starting at 9pm check the web site free entry…great pint…great night. The pavilion on the front does amazing food and a great pint with fantastic sea views too. There’s also a leisure centre…not just for swimming again check it out on line. Highly recommend a lovely walk to Sewerby Hall and also you can walk to Flamborough to see the lighthouse and lovely cliff top views of the sea. It’s a long walk we got a taxi back and was very reasonably priced. Also you can catch the train for around £4 to Scarborough or Filey for a great day out…again fishing and both completely different seaside towns but each well worth a visit. Scarborough having a sea life centre and a castle. Bridlington is pretty flat too so easy on the feet…walking dogs and pushing prams / wheelchairs. One more thing it is NOT a place full of drunks or hen and stag do’s. It’s clean and quiet at night. Give it a try.

The town near the beach is to be avoided.

The town near the beach is to be avoided. Not pleasant as full of cheap fast food. However the old town of Bridlington is lovely and a must to be visited. We used our time for the walks along the cliff tops. Brenton Cliffs - RSPB was wonderful, we went by train.

We came for a concert but had a look around.

We came for a concert but had a look around. Shops seem a little tired as were the pubs we visited. Lovely harbour but hard to find fresh fish to buy. Massive beach and endless amusements. Very much the seaside resort with a wonderful old town
