We love Bridlington and have visited here from N E LINCS, as bikers many times.
It has something for everyone, young, old and families.
Amusements, lovely harbour and long promenade walk up to Sewerby and beyond with a land train for tired legs.
Great fish and chips, takeaway or eat in, try the Salt on the Harbour, it’s superb.
Finally a huge expanse of clean sandy beach for fun and boat trips from the harbour. Well worth a visit.

Sadly Bridlington is looking a little worn, I have visited on and off for 50 yrs. Lack of money and closed shop premises don't do the town any favours. Having said that for a short break and a walk on the sands etc it is fine.

One of the nearest seaside resort to where we live in Sheffield and easily gettable to by train… Just over a two hour journey without any changes.
The seafront is in easy, walking distance from the train station and it took us just 12 minutes to walk to our seafront hotel
There were also plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance of our hotel on the seafront. We went to one of the Indian restaurants which was good quality and good value for money.

In the words of Morrissey "This is the seaside town, that they forgot to close down". Maybe in the height of summer there's something to be said for Bridlington but in October, there really is not.
The Beach was nice and I wandered along the length of it with my dog. On that subject there are horrendous plants with 'Burrs' on them - avoid these at all costs as they stick to your dog, your clothes and anything else they touch.
I found a shop in the town selling proper sea side rock which was cool but I did not want a reminder of Bridlington.

I booked to stay here for when I finished cycling The Way of The Roses, and it was just perfect. I was able to securely store my bike, and parking was available for when my hubby arrived. The room was really beautifully furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was an added bonus to have breakfast amenities in the room, along with a fridge, and fresh milk was provided. If I end up in Bridlington again, this will be the first hotel that I try to book.
Lovely breakfast and a good choice room clean jugs of milk available in an upstairs fridge staff friendly lovely cream tea on arrival location good for sewerby hall and gardens that was great value for money not to far away to visit Selby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington Which is walking distance from the hotel
Sewerby Hall and Gardens shown on the first 2 photos
We loved our sea view, the hotel is situated in a quiet area looking towards Sewerby side of Bridlington. The room was clean and comfortable with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits supplied. A nice hot shower too.
Breakfast was good, with a wide choice.
