The property has character which Tim and Nicky have carefully maintained. Nothing was too much trouble; they were friendly without being intrusive. The best B &B I have stayed in - immaculate and classy.

Lovely area. Had a gorgeous meal at Friar Tucks. I highly recommend there. Stayed in the Mercure hotel and that was the nicest hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in. Got to see the Fallen Moon art installation in Bridgwater docks so that was an added bonus

If taking pets, load your car up!
If taking pets, load your car up! Although pets are very welcome, the £20 charge I presume is just for them to be permitted in the room.
No fridge or use of, again really important for pets who eat at different times to owners, medication etc, that’s the bad bit out the way. The staff are lovely and welcoming along with other patrons. Please, please, try the food here, WOW! The chief is amazing. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

The shower was good.
The shower was good.
No breakfast or check in staff due to shortage. We were told breakfast was 7 am to 10 am but this was not available.
Beds were bad and road noise very dated and did not look clean as it was old.

Room was very basic, we did not like the decor which looked as though it had been prepared for decoration.
Very basic furniture, a small stool beside the bed instead of a bedside cabinet.
Bed was comfortable, breakfast was OK, but there was only one staff member in the restaurant, so the table had not been cleaned.

Countryside all around, spiralling town of a moderate size with a river running through its heart.
Town centre good for shopping, wandering, plenty of nice cafes & other eating & drinking places.
Handy place to stay & visit places attractions in the wider area. Decent road system, easy to navigate. Like everywhere parking is the proble, but not if you don't mind short pleasant walk, as opposed to parking at the door of where you want.

The Tudor Hotel is a lovely old building and very popular. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. They serve very tasty food and all of the staff that I spoke to were lovely, they really made me feel welcome. I’d definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
This is an amazing place to stay, very high spec accommodation, similar to a 4 star hotel with everything that you require for a great self-catering break and superb views. Highly recommended.
We love this hotel, we have started her a couple of times now, it’s a really nice modern hotel, and the fact we can take the dog is a massive bonus. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
The hotel was lovely and cosy in an excellent location. Our booked room had no tv remote so we had a fabulous upgrade to an exceptional room. Thank you
