We stayed for one night. The bed was comfortable, towels clean and white. The lady at the bar was pleasant and gave clear directives.
We return often as it was at his hotel we got to know rhe village, many years ago. This hotel used to have a phenomenal Indian restaurant, very sad this no longer exists. So much history. Always lovely to visit.

Large carpark. Suitcase carried to the room by hotel/bar staff. Popular place for all including children. We had a meal that was very tasty and large and at a good price. The bedroom was super, large comfy bed and very lovely shower room. Friendly staff and children's play equipment.

We had booked through Booking.Com a 3 bed room for 3 adults. On arrival we were informed that our room number was number 10, on inspection the room only had 1 double bed. A lady on the front desk was unable to explain how the Hotel had not picked up our booking however, luckily for us room number 12 that had the 3 beds was free and the lady kindly and eagerly swapped the reservation over.

The room was large and very clean, it have everything you could need, lots of shelving and hanging space, tea and coffee and a very comfortable bed. Soft towels and a large, powerful shower with anti slip mat. We had breakfast served to our room which was toast, tea, yogurt and cereal and there is a table and chairs in the room. We only meet the receptionist, she booked us in and served our breakfast, very friendly and informative. Great Wi Fi reception too. Plenty of parking near the room for easy transport of cases and the flowers and hanging baskets are magnificent. An all round great place to stay.

Bream is not an attractive village.
Bream is not an attractive village. It has some shops, but no large supermarket. Shopping is in Lydney. There's not much to do in the village, but it is well located for the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.

visited during storm dennis so a short trip was enough! It was just me and my 6 year old and we dont mind a bit of rain however. In better or just generally dryer weather you could stay for much longer as there is so much to do! Would come back
