spa facilities were great but would benefit by having more jacuzzi as the demand was high. The room was a really good size with a huge bed and a jacuzzi bath which was amazing. The staff were great they were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The views were amazing and the place was really dressed up for Christmas. The breakfast was good and there eas plenty yo eat. The massages we booked were great. A thoroughly relaxing few days away
Overlooking the surrounding countryside, Uplands offers a bar and a restaurant.

Alan, Sue and the team do a cracking job of looking after their guests. We were made so welcome and they couldn’t have been more hospitable. Everywhere is clean and well maintained to a high standard. Meals we had (breakfast and dinner) were all exceptional and cooked with fresh ingredients.
We loved relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine.
Convenient for visiting parts of South Cumbria. Haverthwaite Station for steam trains to Lakeside and boat trip on Windermere; Fellfoot Park; Predator Experience; Grange-over-sands; pretty countryside; lovely walks; all near-by.

It's a really beautiful area lots of lovely scenery. Pretty villages nearby and lovely ulverston just down the road. So worth a visit.
Also very close to the M6 on a good road.
Also close to the lakes whilst still being a reasonable price to stay. A wonderful place to spend a few days.

I loved the area.
I loved the area. Motor museum, aquarium, heritage railway, National Trust properties, Levens Hall, Furness Abbey and Piel Island (ferry, castle and pub with king of Piel) all excellent. Pity that Rusland Pool hotel did not meet expectations

Bouth is a tiny village at the bottom of the Lakes.
Bouth is a tiny village at the bottom of the Lakes. It was perfect for our stay, just 20 minutes by car up to Bowness. We were here to ride the Cumbrian Heavy Horses in Millom so was ideal for what we needed.
The food at the hotel was very good as was the food at The Manor where we ate on the Monday night as The White Hart does not do food on a Monday. The Manor was just 10 mins away by car so we got to enjoy two places to eat.

Was a beautiful scenery where the hotel is located, nice walks avaliable. Was very clean & essentials were provided. The staff are so very well mannered & are very friendly. The breakfast was amazing! Sausages are the best!
Parking was avaliable. Drinks & food were well priced for location and so tasty!
I would definitely stay here again & recommend
The room was good and big but a little cluttered. It was a very easy hotel to find and we could eat there too. the food was good. The menu was standard pub food but the beer and staff were great. It was a good friendly place to stay.
Breakfast was served in a lovely room with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, delicious meal, served with a smile and beautiful scenery. Also had dinner at the hotel, great food and service again.
