Good base for travelling around Lincolnshire . Like most town centres all the large shops have gone but good out of town sites if needed. The famous Boston Stump is lovely.
Some nice unique shops like the Sack store emporium and also Woodhall Spa nearby with some lovely independent shops and fantastic deli

We had visited Boston to attend an amazing concert at St Botolph's church on our first day. Boston town has many pubs and places to eat, but we really enjoyed some well cooked British meals at Churches Restaurant on 14 Church St., nearby. We also bought loaves of delicious Lincolnshire plum bread from them. The highlight of out three day holiday was a visit to the We'll Meet Again, WW2 Museum in Freiston to the east of Boston, which we drove to; followed by a view of swans and wading birds from the RSPB Hide In Freistone Shore.

The town is a little jaded, but the centre retains quaintness, with so much history. Lots of interesting buildings , variety of restaurants/bars, market .We went on a guided walking tour- including "The Stump", Fydell House, the old Courtroom and other old buildings. Lots of info on The Pilgrim Fathers and the history of Boston for £5. We took a Boston Belle River cruise, £10 each. Very tranquil, hot and cold drinks - and a toilet !- available. Boat immaculate. We stayed at The White Hart- excellent hotel. We dined at the Wetherspoons-The Moon Under Water, and had drinks by the river in the outside area. We lunched at LT, the Lithuanian cafe ,on Emery Lane. Fantastic interesting food.

Clear instructions for lock box with parking right outside. Good location close to the Grand Sluce, River, Marina and the Boston Stump. Walking into town was within 10 minutes. The whole place was very stylish with tasteful decoration and had been freshly painted. Very clean throughout. Bathroom was excellent with added bonus of a separate cloakroom downstairs. Kitchen was reasonably equipped.
Friendly welcome. Shown to the room and everything explained.
The room was spacious with everything I needed and also included a dedicated coffee machine.
This is a pub with rooms and not a high-end boutique hotel.
It was clean and tidy, with WiFi and parking & I slept well.
Perfect for my one-night stopover.
Hotel itself was great, but the location is terrible due to antisocial activities happening outside and in the market square. I would absolutely recommend staying away until the authorities do something about how the local youth/young adults who hang around the area change.
