The house is in a great location to easily get to both Chesterfield and Mansfield, even Sheffield. There was always on street parking available close to the property too. The street was very quiet and the surrounding area is nice, we would definitely book again.

Facilities were very good, this was our third visit as our daughter & family live in the neighbouring village. Bed extremely comfortable.
The hotel is a very busy wedding venue & a lot of guests park in the spaces with EV chargers despite being non EV vehicles. Neil was an absolute star as kindly reserved a space so we could charge our EV. He went above & beyond.

A warm and friendly welcome, check in was simple and quick. I Only booked for 1 night stay whilst passing throuh Mansfield but would definately stay there again if visiting Mansfield again.

The staff are friendly and helpful with a pleasant atmosphere. The room was small with a large standing light that didn't work, and blocked access to the only cupboard. so it just made the room smaller. On numerous occasions, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the shower leaked onto the floor.. The room (room 2) is ok for 1 or 2 nights but I wouldn't like to stay longer.
On the A619, just off junction 30 of the M1 motorway, the hotel makes a great base from which to visit the Peak District, Sheffield and Nottinghamshire, with free parking and comfortable en suite...
