We were delighted to stay in this very historic inn! We arrived before check-in time and enjoyed a beer in the very old courtyard surrounded by flowers and creepers.
Breakfast was pleasant and ample.
Our room was average size and had a nice bathroom.
We were able to park in the hotel's parking area which is very tight, but secure.
The hotel is in a great location for walking to restaurants and to Salisbury Cathedral.

Historic Inn located in a gorgeous village just outside of Chipping Campden. I loved the wooden beams, nooks and crannies, cozy pub and dining areas, and the lovely back garden. Our room was very clean, with comfy bed and linens. The bathroom was beautiful, and quite rustic with a deep soaker tub.

The hideaway huts were comfortable and cosy. The little gardens were private and peaceful. The food in the restaurant and bars was very good. We enjoyed the walks from the hotel too.

The location was great. The room very cute. The restaurant was brilliant! We dined there the first night of our trip— the food was amazing and the ambiance very nice. Also had a great bottle of wine.

The restaurant was very good (we had the trio of lamb and the trio of pork the first night - both excellent - and lighter dishes the second night) with good wine choices. Parking was easy. The bed was very comfortable. It was good value for the cost overall.
Everything. The staff were very welcoming, easy, well presented, tidy and the old hotel is lovely. There are single rooms right up to a family cottage. Excellent. Highly recommend.
If you want a small, country village with a little stream and a friendly hotel with all you need, this is your place. It's not far from Morton on Marsh either.

The village was difficult to find but once there everything was fine. Foreigners should be aware that the village streets are very narrow and that parking is not too easy but there are plenty of spaces in the carpark of the hotel once you have found it. The villagers in this place are ver friendly people and supportive when you look for the hotel.

We stayed in the cutest adorable wee cottage and the village...
We stayed in the cutest adorable wee cottage and the village was the same. A gorgeous narrow street of lovely cottages and houses to wander around and enjoy the peace and quiet. When we were there it was not bustling with tourists like some of the neighbouring villages which we liked. It has a lovely big church, a cafe with delicious looking food, a small convenience store, and two pubs to choose from. Only 10mins drive from Moreton in Marsh and less than an hour to Stratford upon Avon.

Lovely village. Pub was good, food good.
Lovely village. Pub was good, food good. Room very small, bathroom tiny. Hot water intermittent. Wardrobe very dusty so obviously not been cleaned in a long time!! Staff very polite, courteous and helpful and nice. Food is excellent, especially their curry's which were delicious. Blockley is an ideal place to stay and one of the prettiest village in the Cotswolds.

Great location, you can walk from the cottage or drive, lot's of walking choices and site seeing in the area. The cottage is on the small side but as long as visitors are aware of this, they will have a good stay. Excellent wifi connection.
This was the cutest most adorable cottage and village we have stayed in. We loved it here. The cottage had everything we needed (except a washing machine) and it was a lovely wander back along the lovely High Street to The Crown Hotel, cafe and wee shop in the village. The cottage has a tight spiral staircase up to the bathroom and bedrooms so we left our suitcases downstairs (which was fine for us). We loved it here and really wished we could have stayed here longer.
We loved the location of the apartment. Easy access in and out of Blockley & a wonderful base to explore the Cotswolds. Close to the Cafe and the St. Peter & St. Paul’s Cathedral. The apartment is spacious and clean. The arrival instructions were clear. We would recommend this delightful apartment for a short or long stay without hesitation.
Fabulous view from the garden and back bedroom.
Kitchen was well stocked with various Kitchen equipment.
New main bathroom in great condition.
Kitchen and bathrooms clean.
Blockley is beautiful and really well situated within the Cotswolds, lots of tourist attractions v close by.
The Hotel is hidden away in the middle of the Cotswolds, it has plenty of history and charm. The room was spacious with twisted walls and floors and the bathroom was also spacious and clean.
