It is not very often that the place is actually better that the images show. We loved this great place! Just no in-house diner in Sunday evening, but the Howard’s Inn next village is highly recommends too!

The hideaway huts were comfortable and cosy. The little gardens were private and peaceful. The food in the restaurant and bars was very good. We enjoyed the walks from the hotel too.

Very comfortable and clean. Excellent location. Private parking was a great asset in this town.

I've known Blockley for many decades as I have family living nearby but like the whole of the Cotswolds it has become a victim of its own success and there are too many tourists. A sign of the times I know but it detracts from the area in my opinion.

I absolutely love Blockley.
I absolutely love Blockley. I have visited this place at least 8 times now, and I never get bored of the place.
This is the village where Father Brown is filmed, you might be lucky enough to catch some of the filming in the summer.
The village itself is peaceful, charming and full of character.
There is a cafe, shop, and church to visit. There is also 2 pubs in the village as well. One of these is a hotel, which I have stayed at recently and I liked it there.
There is limited amount of parking in the village, so be careful of where you park. You can park on St George's Church Hall car park, is open and free to use when visiting the village.

Everything.
Everything. The staff were very welcoming, easy, well presented, tidy and the old hotel is lovely. There are single rooms right up to a family cottage. Excellent. Highly recommend.
If you want a small, country village with a little stream and a friendly hotel with all you need, this is your place. It's not far from Morton on Marsh either.

The village was difficult to find but once there everything was fine. Foreigners should be aware that the village streets are very narrow and that parking is not too easy but there are plenty of spaces in the carpark of the hotel once you have found it. The villagers in this place are ver friendly people and supportive when you look for the hotel.

We stayed in the cutest adorable wee cottage and the village...
We stayed in the cutest adorable wee cottage and the village was the same. A gorgeous narrow street of lovely cottages and houses to wander around and enjoy the peace and quiet. When we were there it was not bustling with tourists like some of the neighbouring villages which we liked. It has a lovely big church, a cafe with delicious looking food, a small convenience store, and two pubs to choose from. Only 10mins drive from Moreton in Marsh and less than an hour to Stratford upon Avon.

The location is ideal and also has a car park behind the hotel. The hotel is old and has open fires and low ceilings giving it a homely feel. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were able to check in earlier than 3pm and had trouble obtaining a taxi so one of the staff drove us into Chipping Campden. The food was lovely as it was buffet night so plenty on offer and the breakfast was served and came out nice and hot.
Great getaway, fantastic value. The hosts were very prompt to respond. A quaint cottage- we woke up to a lovely view of the neighbouring farm sheep grazing. Good location with the High St area being less than 15 mins drive away and surrounded by a handful of local pubs (short walk away). Would recommend the local Blockley Cafe for a brunch while you’re here!
Fabulous view from the garden and back bedroom.
Kitchen was well stocked with various Kitchen equipment.
New main bathroom in great condition.
Kitchen and bathrooms clean.
Blockley is beautiful and really well situated within the Cotswolds, lots of tourist attractions v close by.
Blockley is a lovely quiet village that we use as a base when visiting the Cotswolds. The Little Mews is a small cosy retreat finished to a high standard, that suited us just fine. The owners were really helpful and very friendly, it's an ideal place for a short stay.
Great size cottage with everything that you need for a relaxing holiday. Blockley is absolutely beautiful and very well located for exploring the cotswolds.
