Blakeney is a very historical and vibrant village with an old seaport which now still allows access for small craft to Moor. Good place for crabbing! Lovely oldy worldy shops with lots of crafts, artwork and clothing. A great place to walking coupled with birdwatching. Quiet and peaceful.

If you enjoy walks out into the marshes and enjoy wildlife then Blakeney is the place to stay. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. Gets extremely busy in the summer and has actually become an all year place to visit .

Blakeney is a very special place for me, my late partner & I visited often & I continue to once a year, beautiful peaceful place which holds many precious memories! I stayed at the Blakeney Manor Hotel which is superb, recently renovated & it's amazing, very comfortable, excellant food & wonderful kind attentive, friendly staff! I recommend the above to eat & The 2 Magpies bakery/cafe, fantastic choice of home baked food & a large choice of gluten free options too! Lovely tranquil place to walk especially along the marshes to Cley-next-the Sea!

Blakeney and the north Norfolk coast is a delight to behold in early October. However I would imagine that the narrow roads would be hell to navigate during the popular summer months. The frequent use of brick and flint nodules, in what appears to be the vast majority of residences in this area (both old and new), is a very attractive feature in the landscape.

Blakeney itself is very small, just one shop but several bars/ restaurants. Easy access to several stunning beaches along the stretch of coast. Very close to other places such as Holt, Wells and Sherringham which have plenty to offer. Enjoyed our seal watching trip with Ptarmigan Seal Trips from Morston Quay. And the heritage railway between Holt and Sherringham is also worth doing.

We loved Blakeney as a place to rest, restore and chill out.

We loved Blakeney as a place to rest, restore and chill out. The surrounding area is full of wonderful places to visit, pubs, restaurants & other activities. Excellent for old and young. Parking can be a bit of a challenge and payment is nearly always needed. We were lucky with the weather, not sure how it would all work if wet & cold!! Most of the establishments we found to be very helpful & friendly offering plenty of useful tips etc for the stay. There are a lot of places to stay in Blakeney, little quaint cottages through to 5** hotels. The cottages are all sited up little alleys & in courtyards so check out the nearby parking availablity, that is something I would definitely recommend to avoid parking a long way from the property. We will look to return again for further exploration of Norfolk. It is a wonderful county. Cromer crabs are utterly delicious!

We already were familiar with Blakeney and therefore booked accommodation accordingly. The property did not disappoint. It was excellent for us. Spacious and the en-suite bedrooms were great. A great find
