The first welcome from Ann Leigh at reception was lovely - she could not have been nicer as she explained everything to me. The staff in the Grand Hall, Restaurant and Bar were all so friendly and efficient. Even when I requested the same table for breakfast and dinner-nothing was too much bother for them.

The staff is outstanding. I arrived at the beginnings of a cold and within a minute, the lady at the desk handed me a packet of cold reliving tea. I was so touched by that. She even offered to make me a cup of warm water so that I could start taking it immediately. I had literally just finished my check and had even gone to my room yet! Wow!
The Barman was also terrific. Very friendly efficient and made my drink exactly as I had asked, which rarely happens.
Rooms are nice. Thoughtfully laid out. Comfy bed and pillows.
The quick walk to the airport under a cover walkway was perfect.
All in all a good stay.

The room was very comfortable. The bed was wonderful. The bathroom was fairly large. We had breakfast included and it was really good with lots of options. We stayed one night and were flying out the next morning. The motorway ended up being closed for some reason and so it took us longer to get to the airport. But no problems getting there. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel. There were a few places to eat that were kind of close to the hotel, but the food wasn't fabulous. So plan where you will eat before you get to the hotel.

This is the third time staying at the resort and improvements have been made to the spa which is part of the ongoing redevelopment since the new ownership and hopefully this progresses as the hotel deserves to be brought back to its grand style

Thankfully the next door room (a nice couple) weren't on their honeymoon - otherwise it could have been even more bizarre.
According to reception 50% of all rooms have an adjoining door - which has little (if any) sound proofing.
Stay here and you will have a 50% chance of hearing every word (sound) your neighboring room makes. NOT GOOD !

I thought check in times were not the. Best 4pm is a very late check in especially as we were only booked for one night and an early check out 11am it wasn’t even 24hrs! Lovely setting and facilities nice restaurant and helpful friendly staff yes would recommend to others except for check in time

I booked the hotel as a treat for my mum and dad, my dad turned 80 on Sunday and as we were having a party thought a wee overnight would revive them, and that’s exactly what it did. From the minute they arrived everyone was so welcoming, the room, the food and the view were all excellent, they now cant wait to return!
This was my first time staying at this hotel, and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything about the hotel was wonderful, from the facilities to the services provided. The breakfast was also great, offering a variety of delicious options.
The staff were very polite and attentive, making my stay even more pleasant. I will definitely return in the future and stay for more nights. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
The hotel was set in beautiful surroundings, the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help you, special mention to Gregor who worked in the restaurant who sorted out our wobbly table with a ‘wibbly wobbly’ the food in the restaurant was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel, we’ll definitely be back.
Beautiful hotel and grounds, staff are very welcoming and attentive. The buffet breakfast is vast with lots of hot food on offer as well as a full continental. Our bedroom was much bigger than expected with gorgeous views out on the grounds.
