we loved everything about this hotel absolutely wonderful stay our room was fantastic it had a queen size bed and amazingly comfortable, facilities, food , The Staff were so friendly and it was Close to the NEC Birmingham and the airport.

Decent sized room, very clean, big bed with good pillows, some tea coffee in room etc which was nice
Security good as when you use lifts , you needed to use room key to activate them.

Never having been to the area before, it took me twice as long to locate from the NEC as was expected.

Really near NEC and really easy to get there without needing a taxi. Really handy for the railway station if you are going into Birmingham. The beds were really comfy. Didn't like that there wasn't a second bin in the bedroom.

The breakfast is overpriced. One price only so it you want just toast and cereal you pay the same as if you want everything.
The lighting in the room is not well thought out. The lights by the bed are not independent of each other so if your partner wants to sleep and you want to read all the light go out!!

Staff, the room was pretty good for the price, car park, electric car charger (50kw BP)
Should point out that they have charging facilities more clearly. It is one charger with 3 cables.
But the staff are the best thing about this hotel.
Hotel is well suited for the NEC and the airport.
They now serve a limited evening meal at pub prices, but I found the meal tasted good.
And there is a pub 1 minute walk away.

Like the scenery the most, a hidden gem, staff were so helpful beautiful entrance smelt nice and clean.
Loved the food in the restaurant, a lot of people great vibe, good mix of diverse cultures staying at the hotel.
Afternoon tea was a pleasant experience.
Didn’t like that steam room wasn’t working and the costume dry machine.
I will definitely be going back to stay again though regardless.

This was the second time I've stayed at Ibis Birmingham International Airport - NEC. I returned for all the reasons I've just ticked the boxes giving positive feedback. Staff were friendly and efficient both times. The room both times were pristine clean and very quiet. Surprising given the hotel is at a very busy airport day and night. I didn't have breakfast both times because my flights were very early in the morning and I just wanted to get through security at the airport.
Location is fantastic for Birmingham airport. Loved the on-site restaurants and access to the car park, all under one roof. The reception, rooms and bathrooms were all lovely and spotless. We will definitely book the Genting Hotel again for any future visits to Birmingham airport.
Very friendly welcome. We were early in Birmingham, went to the hotel to drop off our luggage, very quick and efficient.
The rooms are large and well equiped. Hotel is perfectly situated near the airport and by using public transport Birmingham is nearby too.
Room was nice and clean, staff were most helpful, food at the hotel was nice and reasonably priced.. 8 min walk to a free Mono rail which took us into Birmingham Airport, car park was £10 per night at the ibis car park.
