Good location
Quiet (Even tho rooms are on top of a pub you can't hear anything)
Rooms are beautifully decorated, cosy but with a big modern bathroom
The best bit about the hotel has to be Cath, the lady who checked us in, she was so welcoming and very helpful giving us directions and recommendations. All round she was amazing. We will definitely be staying here again.
With original stone flooring, this 18th-century coaching inn is close to the medieval town centre, 800 metres from Beverley Rail Station and Beverley Minster.

I used to live in Beverley many years ago and the main reason for our visit was to visit our relatives and friends. We were very impressed by the wide variety of pubs, restaurants and bars, and the warm welcome that we received where ever we went. We will certainly be going back for a second and possibly third visit.

I grew up in Beverley but haven't lived here for 50 years!
I grew up in Beverley but haven't lived here for 50 years! It's a vibrant market town with great shops, pubs and restaurants. History is an important asset for the town with the Minster, St Mary's Church and on the edge of town the Racecourse. There really is something for everyone, and Beverley people are friendly and open, and always willing to help when needed!

This our eighth visit to Beverley.
This our eighth visit to Beverley.
We stayed over night which is about right unless you are travelling around the area and using Beverley as a base. We found it to still be a lovely town with plenty of bars and restaurants.
In the passed we have had a walk along the dyke which quite pleasant.

People coming by train from London Kings Cross and changing...
People coming by train from London Kings Cross and changing at Doncaster will, unless there are engineering works (which should be checked for on the National Rail site) have an excellent journey. Of course, the Westwood, St Mary's and the Minster are highlights. Many small independent shops are good, including Polly's and the Beverley Bookshop. It is always good to be in Yorkshire, God's Own County!

Live in Beverly. Beautiful town.
Live in Beverly. Beautiful town. Great selection of restaurants for all tastes and reasonably priced home made pub food. Some bars can be expensive People are friendly and welcoming. Many places are dog friendly and welcome cyclists and walkers. The Minster is worth a visit and roof tours are available at certain times. There is a lot of history in the town. Quite a few, independent shops but these are pricey and appeal more to an older section of the demographic. The more popular stores have succumbed to online shopping.

A lovely historical market town, full of character.
A lovely historical market town, full of character. The Minster and St Mary’s church, lovely gardens and of course the market place with lots of shops bars and restaurants. The open parkland, the Beverley Westwood is a great area for walks and the racecourse is handy for racegoers. It is not too big or bustling although traffic can be heavy through the town centre with one way systems. A super place to visit and also to live.

Breakfast was a nice continental with fresh produce. We had the meal in our room for our convenience which arrived at a pre- arranged time.
Location of hotel was very good for walking into Beverley. It is a quiet location with well kept beer garden to front and separate entrance for access to hotel bedrooms. All staff very friendly and helpful .
On checkout we were asked for feedback on our stay .The owner is very nice and keen to provide the best service and most comfortable stay as possible. Nothing was too much trouble .Lovely stay x
My Full Grill Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the produce used raised its level. The quiet and relaxed atmosphere around the hotel made the stay, albeit one night, so enjoyable. Our Cosy room was all we needed. Everything was clean. Staff were friendly and there if needed.
The hotel has certainly changed in its layout from when we used to regularly visit for morning coffees, snacks, and formal dinners as Beverley people but it still retains its character.
location is a 20 minute walk into beverley room town centre which was fine by us, room was lovely, staff were polite and friendly and provided all we requested, large car park small beer garden to the front of hotel
Fantastic location, delicious breakfast, comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's located in a lovely old hotel and handy to everything in Beverley. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommended.
