The Staff were very nice and also helpful with bags, etc. It is in an excellent location on Reigate Hill, which leads to the nice town of Reigate; and only about 1/2 mile off the M25.
We stayed in the old section of the hotel, Room 415, because the addition has no charm at all. Our room was very large and quiet.
It was certainly not perfect, but it worked very well for us. We have been coming to England for 30 years, and realize that old buildings are always in need of continual repair.

We travelled there purely to meet up with Family who live in the area. Surrey is still a beautiful rural County in many parts. Driving off the Motorways through pretty leafy lanes enjoying the Architecture of its Villages is always a pleasure.

Beautiful picturesque village but pub although old and clean felt neglected . Accommodation needs upgrading dull and soulless rooms. We were expecting quaint old pub the bar was was OK but general feeling the property was in need of attention

The management staff were fantastic in dealing with some small issues. My sister and I were upgraded and very happy with the rooms. We had a few small issues over supper but these were acknowledged by the management and dealt with accordingly.
Because of a plane arriving much later into Gatwick than planned , I arrived at the hotel after closing hours . I had already contacted them to say that there was this possibility but it was not a problem and they advised me that the key would be in the door of my booked room .much appreciated after a long journey.
The hotel was in a quiet countryside setting with a restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The food in the restaurant was lovely.
The room was stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits and water. The bed was comfortable and the room was extremely clean.
It was good to have food and drink available at one site.
Host Mark / owner was fantastic. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location if you need to go to Gatwick Airport and you don’t like to stay in clinical hotel rooms. Staff were great and the locals were very friendly.
We got to the hotel before the kitchen closed but they would not serve us we even asked to take anything they had to our room but still no. The carpet was gross and the room smelled bad.
