Robin Hood Farm B&B, hotel in Baslow

In a lovingly restored stone farmhouse, Robin Hood Farm B&B offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodations in Derbyshire’s Peak District.

This is a great, out of the way place with very nice rooms, and hosts. The only issue we had was there was some road construction and it was difficult to find the place. Also - the location map on booking.com is completely inaccurate! it was about 1 mile off of where the actual place was. Once we called them, it was no problem, and we got there easily.

Three lovely pubs close by. The cottage is spacious with a lovely bath and a great place to sit beside the river with a morning tea. The hosts have been very thoughtful, nightlights provided in the upstairs hallway, milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. Bin bags for your rubbish, good Wi-Fi, books and games, wood for the fire, looked like sky tv (didn’t need to use), bottles of shampoo and conditioner, even seat pads for the outside picnic bench. The host has painted some very good animal pictures. Nearby Chatsworth house is very expensive, but the associated farm shop is very good and reasonably priced.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at this B&B. The owners were really helpful and friendly, the facilities were very clean and kept to a high standard, and there was breakfast available with the option to have it in bed if you preferred. The location is ideal for Peak walks with a quiet but nice pub next door and several other pubs nearby.

Breakfast was excellent choice of granola followed by a choice of meat, veg or salmon breakfast. Hot drinks and juice were brought to the table. Dinner had a great choice with fine quality ingredients. The location is near the farm shop, but a bit of a walk to the house or short drive. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

The location. Right at the gates to Chatsworth house. The hotel/pub was very nice. The room, ground floor was great but a little tired. Nothing a coat of paint wouldn't put right. The breakfast had a good choice, both hot and cold. Car park was very useful.
