A family of four stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bed apartment directly above the pub.
+ Superb quality of decor, fixtures and fittings, very comfortable and practical space to stay in
+ A very 'cosy' pub with beautiful decor and the log burners going which was nice
+ Extremely approachable, attentive and sharp staff
+ Very high quality food and beers
+ One of the few places we've stayed that we'd definitely stay at again!
+ Beautiful, quiet village locale with a lovely walk up to the 'three hills'

The cottages are really nice - inside and out. Good to those who came for a conference held in Hinxton conference center. You can go to the conference center just in 5 minutes through the gate. Need to press the button and explain to the security where you are going. The hotel is the only place nearby which serves food, especially in the evenings. Fish and chips was delicious. Breakfast was very nice too.
Our hosts were outstanding. Location was great! Beautifully decorated. They provided everything we needed. We visited Bartlow and nearby Saffron Walden. Lovely stay at The Three Hills. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Strongly recommend.
