The hotel itself is clean, with a nice ambiance and friendly staff. A standout was a male staff, resturant member from the Philippines who provided exceptional hospitality—he was extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome.

Not a lot of choice for breakfast but really good barista coffee. I had bacon sandwich two days and sausage sandwich one day. The location was perfect for walking the England coast path around beautiful island.

Just a couple of days during poor weather was a little boring as there were not enough activities (adults or kids). During the summer, and knowing whre to visit, this would be an excellent location. Hotel I stayed at was high class / great value.

We went specifically to explore Walney Island, the Wildlife Reserve, and the surrounding area. Walney was busier than I expected, the Reserve was delightful, and we also visited Askham, Millom, Ulverston and the Morecambe Bay coastline.

Very good pub /restaurant - The Duke of Edinburgh, good real ale and great range of food and attractive interior. handy for the beach, Barrow Museum, and the football ground was good - I saw a 4-nil win to Barrow :-)
Easy access the hiking and walking locally at in the nearby towns of Grange over ~Sands and of course the Lake District. Supermarkets handy and easy access to M6. A traditional park, with a boating lake and war memorial, and bandstand that hosts the weekly FREE international parkrun - which I ran in. Plus the Furness Abbey ruins and visitor centre.

Barrow has some great places to visit in the area and is growing a strong cultural buzz since the Liverpool Philharmonic arrived for their partnership. Look out for concerts but don't miss getting over to Walney Island and nearby beaches such as Roanhead. Whilst many visitors hit the famous makes around Windermere etc, there is still lots to see by going to the end of peninsula!

Barrow has so much history.
Barrow has so much history. It is ideally situated for the lakes and Walney Island is just a stone throw away. The Round House Cafe at Biggar Bank on the island is well worth a visit whatever the weather.

The biggest room in any hotel I have ever stayed in. Was initially concerned about how noisy it might be but it was like the whole room was soundproofed.
Food was great as usual and super quick.Ordered food and it was delivered to reception who rand for us to collect. I would certainly recommend this super cheap bargain hotel.
The welcome was warm and the room was absolutely gorgeous. It was a real treat to have a fridge on the room as well as the tea and coffee stuff. The en-suite was small but lovely. The hotel is perfectly located in the town centre and our room was quiet.
This hotel is a little way out of the centre, but there is plenty of parking space and it is located in a nice suburb of Barrow near to the hospital and the rest of the Furness peninsula. A good breakfast was included in the price.
This was just a quick flying visit to catch up with family.
Hotel is conveniently located in town centre and there's parking available.
Efficient friendly staff on arrival and the check in procedure was quick and seamless.
